Used a groupon voucher for afternoon tea. When entering told the waitress we was both vegetarian and would this be ok, she said no that’s fine. We was seated and served very fast has there was no other customers in the establishment. The sandwiches we was served was 5 tuna (which is clearly not vegetarian) along side was 3 small cheese triangle sandwiches. The selection of overhaul food was tiny and not worth even the discounted price. We rang multiple times to say we was running late but no one answered, we presumed they was busy but when arriving no one was in there and plenty of staff which gave the impression they was choosing to ignore the phone. We left after 25 minutes has we felt we was an inconvenience. We took away the tuna sandwiches for someone else to enjoy.

Now called The Glasshouse with a great new image. Fabulous for afternoon tea, great coffee and they're licensed too! Gorgeous cake and great service.

Had a lovely afternoon tea there. The food was delicious and just the right amount so you didn't feel over full afterwards. The staff were welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Excellent, hidden gem. Good service, pleasant environment, very tasty food. Linen tablecloths and napkins and individual white proper handtowels. What a pleasure. Probably one of the best quiches I've ever had. Couple of suggestions; a little more variety in the salad and parasols for outside seating area.

Lovely renovated old building into a cafe, with great big double height glass wall. Very nice loose leaf tea and a selection of cakes. They do sandwiches too but not tried them yet!

Lovely staff. Friendly and welcoming. Especially if you have babies and children. Lovely food and superb cakes. Great value and a great menu.

One of my favourite tea rooms. The hime made scones just HAVE to be tasted...although they are much smaller than they used to be but you do get 2.

A little limited for what it purports to be. I wouldn't pay full price for it and the Groupon deal made it better but we won't be rushing back. Staff friendly but we had to wait a few times to catch their attention. Afternoon tea was passable. Scones were heavy, sandwiches were very uninspiring and nothing jumped out at you and said " I'm wonderful… eat me!" Bit cramped and lacking in atmosphere truth be told.

My friend and I had a lovely time here today. Waiter was friendly and very efficient. Goats cheese jacket potato and pretty pink cake highly recommended.
