Had mothersday lunch. The food was ok . It wasn't hot when it was served. Was disappointed as have eaten here and it was excellent. The best thing was the desserts.they could have done better

Decided to pop in with my daughter, been countless times before but on this occasion the meals were "Ok". My daughters chips came and they looked like they'd been deep fried 6x they were dark brown. All in all the staff that served us were nice and polite and the place was clean.

I don't live nearby, however came here for my sister's 50th birthday meal to celebrate with our huge family. We ate in the conservatory area. It is a beautiful room. The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious and perfectly portioned.

Amazing food our waiter was fantastic, informed of what they had on menu and the drinks menu would recommend a visit x

Food was lovely, staff were great. However, the portion size was quite small. Veg was provided, however the cauliflower cheese tasted more like mushy cauliflower without the cheese.Overall I would recommend this place and would go here again.

Had a wonderful 90th birthday celebration with family members from all parts of UK. Nothing was too much trouble. We all went to our various destinations after an overnight stay in lovely accommodation after a family picture out the Reindeer Inn.

Homely and welcoming with lovely friendly staff. They fitted us in for Sunday lunch even though we hadn't booked. There was a choice of meats or the option to have a slice of each for an extra charge. Vegetables included roast and mash potatoes, red cabbage, sprouts carrots, broccoli and cauliflower cheese. It was quite a large portion size so I didn't have room for a dessert today. The toilets were spotlessly clean and accessible toilets were available too. As well as the pub/eatery. rooms are available for guests to stay. Only 3.7 miles from the historic town of Epworth

Lovely food served by lovely staff. Spent a peaceful night in a great room followed by excellent breakfast. Our second visit and really enjoyed it - see you again next year.

Lovely meal with my wife. Should have been our works Xmas meal but it was cancelled and took the wife instead. Knowing they had a spare table. Lovely night out.

We were really excited to come to this restaurant as we had a table booked to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Upon arrival, the staff were lovely, and we were directed to our table and provided with a menu almost instantly. The lady came over and took our drinks order, and they arrived promptly too. We were given a fair amount of time to decide what we wanted off the menu. Me, my mum and dad all went for the garlic mushrooms on toast and my sister ordered the halloumi fries. The starters arrived, and I was the first to taste the garlic mushrooms which were cold (fridge temperature) my mum and dad also tasted them and theirs were also cold. They tasted very unusual as they were covered in a balsamic vinegar dressing, which really didn’t go with the dish. We asked for the attention of the serving staff, and we asked if this was meant to be a hot or cold dish, the server said that the garlic mushrooms was a hot dish. We explained that the food was cold, and they returned it to the kitchen. The servers returned the warm food to the table, however the bread underneath the mushrooms had been toasted that much that it had gone hard and was inedible. The mushrooms still had a funny taste, as it looked like they had just scraped the mushrooms back into a frying pan and put it back on the bread once they had warmed through. We tried our best to get through it, as we didn’t want to look like we were being difficult. The serving staff asked how our starter was, and we said that we were disappointed. The main meal came, and my mum ordered the crab linguine which as she was eating, she found numerous fragments of shell in. I ordered a sirloin steak, the steak was poor and overly cooked on the outside, this impacted the flavour of the steak as it left a burnt taste in my mouth. It was definitely more than chargrilled, it was burnt meat. The chips tasted like oil. Will not return and I think the price was Extortionate for the service we received. They still charged us for the starters even though we fed back that we was not happy. Gutted. £150 for 4 people.
