Really good food. Sunday roast was fantastic. Big Yorkshire pudding, extra gravy and meat was very tender. Fish and chips was great too. The fish was cooked perfectly not dry or greasy! Staff was polite too.

The restaurant was nice and the main meal was good I had the salmon but the dessert was not good for the price I had the passion fruit cheese cake don't know how anyone could eat this soo sweet 😖 and just being told by the server it's Passion fruit what do you expect is not good. I did not ask for another dessert and I feel disappointed at the end of a lovely meal with friends.

I had prawn cocktail starter and there must've been a bag of prawns in their the food was fantastic as well as the friendly service. Can't wait for my beer battered haddock to come 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Rather have gone to binley mega chippy.Slider burgers was dry as a bone. For some reason they were more like meat balls. No sources (like bbq) on the plate. Just a plain bun with a meat ball. Pork and apple burger had no taste and bun was burnt. The starters were ok. Nothing special.Very expensive for what you get.Food was sat under the very hot heat lamps for far to long.Only good things was the service and onion rings.Won’t be returning

We had catch of the day, which included swordfish. The food was fabulous, beautifully cooked, the service was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Our waiter took his time to properly answer our questions and he was lovely. Such a treat to go to a restaurant who's menu includes a special dish beyond the same 6 dishes that every restaurant does and is very boring!

It's such a shame to see this place go down hill. It appears that the original staff before lockdown have all but vanished besides the odd one.As a result the Sun In has now gone from being a great gastro pub to a "woo-girl" (Google/UD it) eatary and sports bar. I imagine this was perhaps done by the owners to try and bring in a more alcohol friendly audience to combat the less impressive menu.Food was mostly good however one dish served to one of the party contained an ingredient, that was not listed on the menu. We spoke to the new manager who sorted it but our plates were cleared well before the affected party member had finished. Almost provoking a quick turn around time for a modestly filled restaurant/bar area.

Was fortunate enough to have my train to Sheffield delayed. In the spare time I found this restaurant on google maps.Delicious food & top class service from any of the staff I interacted with. Thanks

5 of us went for an evening meal and were all absolutely delighted! I had the prawn gambas and the rump steak (gluten free option). The steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it and everything else was delicious. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. A really wonderful experience - thank you 😊

Stunning place, full of character. The staff made us feel very welcome indeed. As for the food. I don't know where to start. It was spot on for everybody. All I can say is go and try for yourself.
