Fabulous pub! We had family reunion and had booked at the Angel Inn to stay (really tastefully decorated rooms) not realising we'd be eating at the White Horse Inn. Easily walkable from the accommodation. Wonderful warm welcome not only from the fire but from the Landlord and all the staff. They all took the time to chat and were brilliant with the dog too! We weren't rushed. Had plenty of time to ponder over a very varied menu. The food was delicious and very well cooked. Definitely worth a visit.

Great New Years Day lunch at the White Horse Inn ! Mike and Elaine are so good at what they do and never fail to make you feel welcome. Very friendly staff and good food what more is there to say .

One star for the discount on the worse Sunday lunch I have ever eaten, took my grandson has a treat but opted out of the Sunday lunch and had a fish course which he said was good. I had pork more fat than lean the potatoes had come out of jacket potatoes no butter or extra mashing plus overall it was only warm, my husband opted for topside of beef good choice but not at this pub my husband tried three different knives and couldn't cut through it. I felt cheated at pay £56 he gave us £14 discount some good are the other reviews getting free meals for their good reviews, I would be starving to go back there, give me the Sun Inn at Everton any day

Second visit yesterday lunchtime . Ordered the Wagu beef , not sure worth the extra , main course food not very hot , plenty of it , but had we wanted to refill our plates , food would have been stone cold . Starter and desserts very good . Will go again and mention above when placing order .

Always an amazing meal out. Make sure to ask for a ladies size wine everytime. The owners are super friendly and the food is always delicious, and now they serve wagu beef. Thank you for a great date night. xx

Wonderful village pub but with great wholesome food. If you want chicken nuggets and chips or pizza this isn't the place. But if you're wanting a good roast beef then get booking! It's even great for a cheeky pint or two. Definitely recommend.
