Everything a pub should be and more. Lovely beer and the brewery tap, lovely food. Great hubbub sound of everyone enjoying a good time. Clean and welcoming, great friendly staff.

Best pie I’ve had! Delicious pastry, really tasty filling and sides. Really friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend!

For a pub restaurant in the middle of nowhere, the White Hart Inn was a surprising hidden gem. We attended on valentines day and had items from their valentines menu. Great value, fast and friendly service and lovely food. What's not to like?

Following a lovely walk along the river Trent,called for lunch and I was really impressed by the cask beers, brewed in the Idle Microbrewery situated behind the pub. Selection of specials on the menu, the liver and onions were delicious and priced very well.Lovely staff and the pub was spotlessly clean.

Visited for their Pie Night at the start of the month and was impressed on the whole.A great value deal that also included a drink so got to try their Idle Brewery handpulls.The 'Gammon, Leek + Mustard Pie' was really nice, which came with chips + mushy peas (although the chips weren't as good as I hoped).Had a very tasty Apple Pie + Custard after this for desserts.Will definitely be going back on a different night of the week to try their main menu.

Highly recommended Pie Night or any night for that matter. Warm welcome, wonderful staff, great service and fantastic food. Regular live music and quiz nights just wish I lived within walking distance!!!

We went for Pie Night and as always, it didn't dissapoint. There were a good range of pies - I had the mixed game - and all that our party of 4 had were equally good. Packed with flavoursome filling and wonderful pastry. There's a good selection of ales brewed on site to go with your meal and a pint is included in the meal price (other drinks can be ordered but there may be an extra charge). The service was excellent and the value for money pretty much unbeatable. Well worth a try!

Just visited for a quick pint and to see what it's like. We walked 30 minutes from our campsite to a nice place and had a nice pint each of there stout which was spot on and a reasonable price at £3.10 a pint. Inside we were welcomed and told dogs were welcome in the bar area and outside in the the beer 🍻 garden which has a large teepee in it. Clean and tidy. Hope to return for some food. Sadly not able to visit again to sample food but if in area would return.

Lovely meal in the beer garden. Staff were very attentive, and my glass was never empty. We will return again v soon
