I used to come to this place with children despite poor cleanliness and service, but what happened to us today exceeds all the limits of my tolerance. From the very first moment we came mean, young girl from reception ostentatiously stated that “is full and not going to be available in next 1.5 hour”. I couldn't even imagine telling the children that we came here for nothing. Thanks God one couple left, and we had a space. We didn't even expect someone to come clean the table and we did it ourselves, taking the cups to the bar. When ordering snacks and drinks, we waited a long time and it was clear that everyone else is more important than us and we are served at the very end (not even “sorry for waiting” could be hear).Children had a lot of fun when after 1 hour and 20 minutes another young girl approached us and said that our time is running out and we must leave (!) I was so in shock because never before has anyone noticed that we are too long.We asked why we need to leave while everyone else was sitting. The girl said that when it is busy everyone must go on time so that others can use place too. It seemed to be complete nonsense as some of the tables were empty and nobody was coming in. The lady went and came back, saying it would be a birthday soon and we need to leave (while the rest of the parents with children were sitting safely at their tables)I didn't feel like arguing in front of the kids. It was clear that we are not welcomed there as people with a different accent.Do not wish anyone such an experience in front of your own child!Next time I will just go somewhere else, a less racist place to save unnecessary stress. A 360 which is just around the corner.

Just come here for the first time with my husband and kids. Amazing service, excellent value for money on food and for the price was amazing. Really friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

The soft play area is looking very tired now and could do with an update. Its a great soft play and just the fact that it looks so tired now let's it down. Staff are friendly and food is standard pub grub but range is good.

Lunch there today. Food OK, just average pub chain stuff but quite expensive for what it is. Puddings are free with Big Plate Specials on Thursday - just as well as the puds are pretty small portions for £5. Food took quite a while to arrive. Wetherspoons is better value if you can find a nice one.Edit: Thanks for responding. I think the issue is one of value for money - and I appreciate that the prices and portion size etc will be set by Greene King, so your hands are tied really.

Staff seemed very overworked and stressed but tried to make my family meal as well as it could be. Mushrooms in the pie were a little overly slimy and the steak was a little bland. As for the play area, the employees seemed drained and like they could use a hand (not any fault of their own) having what I could see on the staff board, only 3 members of staff employed, I don't know how they cope with screaming kids all day with such little staff.

Great pub grub food with excellent service from staff that are working hard during Covid. Plenty of space outside of peek eating hours but the kitchen closed early when we went one Thursday but to no orders of nearly two hours, understandable but a packet of crisps just didn't hit the mark. The parking a easy and access only a slight up gradient into main door. Have been many times so that says how much I like it, especially for before going local cinema.

Food was lovely, fresh and hot, staff nice and pleasant really enjoyed our meals. Will go back again if we're ever down south again.

Lovely meal but slightly rushed. They stopped serving food at 8p.m. on a Saturday evening. So we had to order quickly (7p.m.) and our sharer starter wasn't even finished before our mains were brought to the table. We were under the impression we had to order before 8 not eat before 8.

My meal was just about ok. My daughter-in- law ordered steak cooked well done when it arrived it was rare and it went back twice after this three times in all. By this time we had all finished our meals and hers was still in the the kitchen. Free drinks offered all round as an apology. 👎

Whilst the food continues to remain at a high standard, the cleanliness of this establishment is abysmal. Upon being shown our table, we were greeted by food left from previous patrons both on the table & on the floor under the table.We requested it to be cleaned (which the staff did) however, it wasn't thoroughly cleaned & a cursory wipe with a napkin to remove the remaining residue from the cleaning products shown the extent of the filth remaining.I can appreciate how busy everyone seems to be, but basic cleaning standards are not being met, which is surprising since we're still waging war on covid-19 at this time of reviewing.
