Forest Park in Blaby

We booked as a family for Sunday lunch . I'm greatful we booked as the restaurant/ pub was extremely busy the entire time of our stay. The staff seated us straight away taking our order for drinks and were very polite and attentive. We ordered food of two carveries and two children's meals within fifteen minutes of entering and another latte during our stay. Thus totalling £36.I am vegetarian and ordered the pie on the menu I can honestly say it was fantastic . Very nice indeed. The portion of the carvery I consider to be plentiful and the choice of veg is nice too.The children's portion sizes i consider to be small though children's appetites vary on age and pallett.Overall a nice meal.

Nice reception, with good service overall. Menu OK but not outstanding. Quality of food good. Reasonable prices, therefore good value for money.

Went for my sons birthday and the Sunday roast beef was chewy. The vegetables left alot to be desired. All in all, main course disgusting but desserts were very nice.

Perhaps if the front of house didn't huff when you politely ask for a alternative table that's not rammed in amongst everyone or by the door when there was other tables available.. then first impressions would be more pleasant

Decent quality food and not too long to waitLike many hospitality venues they do not always have many of the items in .Theplace Can be extremely busy at times .Waitresses are friendly and helpfulTables not always cleaned

We love this place! Food is always good and service is generally excellent. They do struggle to maintain stocks so we usually find some food and beer not available

Today I and my husband visited .Table Table . between 2-4 pm His main meal was fine.but mine was fish and. Chips .simple dish.The. Chips were small cut .not cooked .they were black and looked like cooked in micro- wave.the fish was ransid.to taste.but my husband .did not want to take it back and complain.so he ate. All the chips and most of the fish. The only thing I ate was mushy peas. When I got back I was feeling sick.i had to drink lots of warm water. Now I am fine.

Had a lovely night at the premier Inn nxt door. Had pre booked breakfast but when we got there we were offered a table squeezed in behind another table which I declined, there was no social distancing at all.

We were a large party of 11 and the service was amazing. The food came out quick, our waitress was amazing - so polite, friendly and professional. The food was all accurate and tasty - some items out of stock, like everywhere at the minute , but they were explained to us before we ordered. Good prices too. We will be back. Thank you.

We popped in for a coffee and a dessert. Nice and clean. Hand sanitisers when you walk in. Staff are friendly and service was good. They serve Costa coffee and the dessert was lovely. I'd recommend a visit.
