Staying at a local hotel and we always try and get out to eat.Not disappointed in this choice.All enjoyed there food, and plenty of it, no room for the puddings !!.Try it yourselfSaturday evening was very busy so ring for table

We had a great night here with friends. Food was delicious and tasty. Good selection on the menu. a wide selection of beers and ales available. It was a busy night, but all the food came out together and warm. I would recommend you call in and try it out.

Front door closed so we were about to walk a way, when someone else came & walked around the Lime Tree and found a rear entrance. Food excellent which we would have missed having only tried the front door. Worth another visit. Might be useful to put a note on the front door advising entrance now at the rear.

Visited here this week have been a few times always been great food but have to say the service and customer care received by Katie was outstanding. Never had service like this before she went above and beyond a great member of your team nothing was too much trouble for her thank you Katie for looking after me and my friends so well

We have been to this pub a few times now amd the food is amazing. The carvery on a Sunday is highly recommended and great value for your money. Very nice polite staff too who are happy to help

One of the best Sunday carverys I've had!! It was hot, turkey and the stuffing tasted brilliant!! Plenty of choice and plenty to eat!! Will definitely go back when I'm next up that way!!

Visited the lime tree for a family Boxing Day meal today, and wondered why it’s been so long since we last came. Lovely peaceful atmosphere, all staff were friendly and helpful and most importantly the food was amazing!! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to eat with the family that is reasonably priced. Compliments to the chefs, and a certain waiter named Jake who was apparently responsible for this wonderfully presented delicious tasting desert. I’d ate my food and hadn’t ordered a desert but when I seen one of these come out for somebody else, it was time to loosen the belt and add a desert to my order! 11/10 guys,,keep up the good work!!😍

Came here for lunch for the first time and it is a lovely wee place. Service was ok. A server did spill a glass of coke but did apologise. Accidents happen but obviously does impact the visit. Service was not bad but didn't stand out.The absolute highlight though was the pork belly. An amazing bit of meat cooked to absolute perfection. That by itself is a 5/5. It was meant to come with bubble and squeak but it was more like mash (which I wouldn't have chosen). But good value and portion all in allInspired by the quality I chose the crumble of the day! It was toffee Apple which sounded amazing. But there was NO CRUMBLE!!! Just a mush of filling with no crumble the texture was off. Was like eating baby food. It was super disappointing after the main.

8 of us ate here (6 adults and 2 children)The menu had so many delicious dishes to choose from and the prices were reasonable.We were well looked after, the staff were friendly and attentive. A lovely meal.

This is a great place and food is lovely staff friendly but very pricey so I recommend only for birthdays funerals or just out for one off with the girlfriend of wife
