Great local pub! Just how a local should be.

Don't get to visit often but love using the private pool table section when I do.

Went here with my lad whilst waiting for my daughter to finish dance class nearby,Lovely place, great atmosphere, friendly staff.

A nice local pub ,friendly staff. Christmas decorations are so good, time and thought has been put in to this pub by the the new management to make the pub welcoming .

Lovely place to go for a beer, especially in the summer time, out door play for the kids, it's all fenced off so they're safe from the car park. Pool table, dart board.Inside the pub is nicely decorated. A nice relaxed vibe.Staff are friendly to

Very average food served quite slowly despite ordering in advance. We had fish and chips which turned out to be frozen shop bought shaped fillets that had been deep fried instead of baked, oil used was old and left an unpleasant taste in the mouth. Very noisy lounge area which is where the tables are for food. Not really set up for dining, tables don't fit the two window dining areas well. Definitely not recommended although staff were pleasant and food was cheap and lots of it so might suit some people.

Great little local pub, plenty of space to sit outside in the new garden, albeit a rather plain square grassed area with some things to keep the kids entertained for a bit. Decent selection of beers etc although not really a food place. Handy for the co-op though, do your shopping and pop in for a pint.

Went there with my son today. Not over impressed. Food was just passable..Fish Pie contained very little fish..Gammon Steak was tough and fatty. The lady who served us was quite cheerful and friendly, although the service was a bit slow. Not sure we will be returning any time soon.
