Excellent food good service from staff excellent pint

My friends come here for lunch a couple of times a weekSo while I was visiting I tagged along. What a revelation.The home cooked menu is extensive , delicious and I was spoilt for choice and the puddings .!!!!!how can you choose between all your favourites on one menuOnly a word to the wiseIt gets busy at lunchtime so get there earlybut you are not rushed in any way. Thank you red lionDefinitely recommend this hidden gem.Lovely ambience and excellent staff.Am already booked in for 2 more lunches

The Red Lion is a traditional British Pub offering excellent food, drink and great hospitality. The Steak & Ale Pie is home made and is probably the best that you could get anywhere. A great place to meet, eat and drink.

I love this pub. Welcoming and good wholesome food. It also sells the local Everards brewery beers.

Great, old fashioned, village pub. Lovely staff, great beer. Pleased to call the Red Lion my local.

Excellent hot well cooked food, served by staff very well, all taking Covid safety precautions, tables spaced apart well, lovely atmosphere. Big car park. Nice area for children to play.
