We had the carvery which was nice notwithstanding lumpy thick gravy, however it still tasted nice. Generous portion of meat everything was hot. Would go again. I saw some other, non carvery, meals and they looked appetising. Good value.

We regularly have a buffet breakfast or a carvery here. We have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly, even when they are busy (that's both the bar staff and the chefs). The food is always excellent and is very good value too. Thoroughly recommended.

First time we visited since before covid. Queue for food was overwhelming waiting 20 minutes to get to counter. Kitchen could not cope with how busy the place was. Customers waiting at counter for refills from kitchen. Food was either over or under cooked. Ordered mushrooms as extra didn't get them until we had nearly finished. We complained and the staff member offered us a free breakfast next week. No thanks we won't be back.

Always had a nice carvery here but the meat is cut way to thin so you can't taste the meat so mainly eating vegetables, but the vegetables were nice and also the staff very friendly.Colleagues at work have also said the same and now go to Elmwood Farm so I will give this a try.

Usually decent for breakfast. But today not up to usual standard. Bacon was cremated and sausage under cooked. Baked beans were hard and in a water sauce.

Always a great buffet breakfast to be had here , but experienced a disappointing Lunchtime carvery.Booking on line was easy , staff friendly and helpful .However , the Carvery was a thoroughly disappointing- a very small amount of chosen meat ( very small ), and some of the vegetables were warm..Staff were inundated with customers- or I would have raised my concerns with them.

Having booked online we arrived early and I read reviews and very nearly left.however we both enjoyed our carvery meals.The meat wasn't dry and the veg were acceptable. Personally not keen on mash and some places have small boiled potatoes but that's just our choice.plenty of staff about who all spoke.well worth using 50% voucher.good choice of areas to sit and not too close together.We will return.

Just dropped by on spec whilst driving past - didn't book on this occasion. A couple of spare tables so no long waits. Lovely helpful staff. Amazing carvery, food was fresh and delicious. We'll be going back soon 👍🏻👍🏻
