If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We have never had better food from a pub, lovely staff, setting, food and drink. Highly rated and definitely prefer leaps and bounds over its sister eatery. Everything it truly homemade with alot of love.

Such a lovely setting, great patio area for eating outside and was so impressed with the fish and chips that were completely gluten free and even prepared in a separate kitchen. There are also tables in the gardens where you can have drinks and it overlooks a field of sheep and lambs which was lovely. Beautiful food and great place to be. Wish we lived closer.

A relatively basic menu, but lovely staff and good food made our visit a nice experience. The meals were reasonably priced, and the pies delicious and tender. A nice environment, and ready parking outside

Went today after a short walk with friends from clowne. Had a table booked was seated straight away after being greeted so nicely. Got to say the food was by far 1 of the best meals I've had in a long time. Highly recommended this place. And what a surprise the battered mushy peas are wow.Great staff and service. Very clean toSee you again

Loved the library private dining room. Food absolutely beautiful table of 12 all thoroughly satisfied. No food envy at all! I could have been happy with every dish off the menu. My only slight hesitation in not awarding 5 stars is a feeling of being unwelcomed by one member of staff. But I can appreciate it's a busy time of year and difficult for hospitality all round. Still, service with a smile wouldn't have gone amiss.

Lovely accommodating staff!Booked a table for 7 and were placed in the barn which was lovely although it was a walk outside then into the main bar area to the loos.Nice Sunday lunch and the bottomless gravy is a bonus. Amazing Yorkshire puddings and great that there’s no extra cost for the cauliflower cheese although it wasn’t the most luxurious.
