Hardwick Inn in Bolsover

Great looking pub and an excellent alfresco area to have a Theakstons Old Peculiar. The food looks great too. Will try next time.

Very busy old style bar, suggest make your booking before visit if you think to dine in.Foods really nice , friendly services .*public car park at the downhill side ( depends which way you’re driving from).

Great place. Luckily it was nice enough to sit outside so took advantage of the Stable Bar where you can order your food, same menu as inside the pub, and it’s delivered to your table. Good service and food was spot on. I had pie and chips and the steak was tender and tasty :)

Gem of a pub, great surroundings, the meal we had was bang on and service was excellent. Would recommend without a doubt.

First time visit and was really impressed!The place is larger than you'd expect (especially when you include outside seating, too)..I arrived just before midday and was lucky to get a table.....so please try and book a table in advance!! The service was quick, and the food of a high standard. The building itself had real character, too. I can see why it's so popular!

Fantastic food and drink. Rang and was able to book a table for 12pm. Very friendly staff on phone and also in the pub. Very attentive and friendly. Food and beer were excellent. Had a carvery which was exceptionally filling and very tasty. The meet was cooked really well. The Inn has a car park a short walk from entrance, indoor and outdoor seating. Clean toilets. Lovely real warm fire and great atmosphere inside. Will definitely return soon.

An easy recommendation and a lovely pub. We stopped off after visiting Hardwick Hall on the way back from Center Parcs and pleased we did. Well run and accommodating. Lovely staff, beer and relaxing atmosphere. Dog friendly also. Enjoyed a turkey dinner and definitely the large portion sizes. Needed a walk after to make sure I didn't nod off! Hope to return if we are in the area again.

A wonderfully located pub / Restaurant offering a great selection of localFare and TraditionalDishes . Loved it found the pub by accident but I can honestly say best fish n chips I've had in a pub square plate is the small serving oval large. The fish was so flaky and cooked perfectly.
