Kfc in Bolsover

Ordered a trilogy meal as I was quite hungry & this seemed to be a good combo. I was shocked at the portion size, the fillet was about the size of my thumb, small box of popcorn chicken & the zinger has visibly shrunk in size. The pretence of serving with a bit of lettuce has long gone leaving a dry bun, tiny piece of chicken with only a little bit of mayo to make it barely palatable. My workmates all laughed at the meagre offering & asked if I'd mistakenly ordered a child's meal. Would have been funny if I didn't pay 8 quid for it. Won't be going there again, wait till the chippy opens, I bet loads of other customers won't put up with getting ripped off either. Gave a more than generous 2 stars since it was at least warm.

The food was alright but the order machine was broken so after putting in our orders we had to then do it all again at the Counter. Not the restaurants fault but should of had a out of order sign in place.

This place has improved, it needs further improvement (ie the chicken was way too soggy and they ALWAYS refuse to offer coffee - how do they get away with refusing to serve coffee!!!! ), but... its so much better than it was.Keep progressing AND remedy the bloody coffee option ; especially as it's on the M1 motorway, fer heaven's sake .....

Food was fine and as ordered. Staff were polite.Restaurant itself felt pretty unloved. Broken TV screen so menu couldn't be read. The women's toilets were out of order. The men's were absolutely dire. Reeked of urine, a blocked urinal full of urine and bloody tissues, and a dirty and unflushed toilet. No soap came out of the dispensers either.Although the food was fine I wouldn't return if I had to use the loo, made me feel very unhygienic and put me off eating.My husband went to the McDonald's instead and said their loo was decent so if you're here for a motorway pitstop, that's our advice!

I seem to remember KFC being more succulent than this dry option. No fast food outlet cares about diners anymore, just drive through and deliveries.

The chicken was exceptionally greasy. The coating came off in one soggy piece. The chips were over cooked. Lastly the gravy seemed watered down.KFC is not what it once was. Tomorrow I am expecting the proverbial eye of a needle!Update 280722Downgraded from 2 to 1 star. Absoloutley rubbish service left to wait In the car park for 20 minutes after using the drive through only for the food to be stone cold.Avoid at all costs, wants closing really probably survives because of the proximity to the motorway.

Chicken was too dry as if it had been cooked and held too long. Toilets had no soap. Told the staff member. He said he had topped it up yesterday. I went back into toilet 20 minutes later and still no soap. Not impressed. Restaurant looked dirty and tables had not been cleaned in between customers. Was going to tell the manager but they were no where to be seen.

Service can be improved, stood waiting for nearly 10 mins to be served, no acknowledgement that I was stood there waiting or a thank you for waiting. Once ordered took another 10 mons for the food to be ready. We sat in restaurant, number of tables needed cleaning and floor was very slippy even though wasn't wet. On the positive my little girl enjoyed her meal and the coffee I had was nice.

Worst kfc I’ve ever been to! Waited half hour for cold food, got my order wrong no bbq sauce went in to say about my order being wrong and to see if they could at least warm the chicken up that felt like it had just came out of the fridge. Forgot the hot wings in my meal gave my friend the wrong order and I when I did go in there were numerous other people all waiting to get there order either fixed or fresh meals that were actually hot the staff were arguing with each other. An absolute shambles! The lad serving was the slowest moving human I’ve ever seen my nan gets round quicker and she’s dead!! With the most gormless look on his face!! Absolutely appalling!!!!!!

Very bland interior so I guess they cater more for the drive thru customer. First visit too and last. I had a Zinger burger and fries. Not too hot but chips were bland and dry. There are no desserts.
