Brilliant place. Normally friendly, but the waiter on when we went seemed more interested in anything but the customers. We all have bad days. Food is great though!

I'd give you more stars if I could! I've eaten in a lot of Italian restaurants, even very expensive ones and decided that Italian food wasn't for me but my girlfriend insisted we went to sandros for her birthday and I went only because she insisted and it was for her birthday but HONESTLY! Sandros changed my opinion on Italian food! Not only is he the nicest man you could ever meet his food is cheap and I promise you *IT WOULD* knock the socks off any other Italian you've been to! Thank you for your service! And thank you for providing the nicest italian food in England!

Owner was miserable and said moving to uk was worst decision he'd ever made. We waited ages for starters and again for mains, steak tasted of bbq fuel and cod loin was brought out still frozen. My husband had squitz the following day would not recommend and will not be returning

The food is as authentic as it gets with very affordable prices. It is just like dining in Italy. Sandro is a lovely man too! We have loved going there for years.

Excellent food. The sea bass main course was delicious as was my other half's fillet steak with mushroom and brandy sauce. Will definitely be going back.

We went to Sandro's for a meal last night before going to see strictly, we pre ordered our meal as we needed to be eating at 5.30. They dont open untill 5.30 but said if we pre ordered we could eat straight away so we did. When we arrived the restaurant was very cold they had put a little fan heater on on top of the bar but it wasn't very good. I do think they could have put the heating on before we arrived so it was warmer for us to eat our meal.when our food came the dishes were cold but the food was hot, and i have to say it was fantastic very tasty. All in all you can't fault the food it was worth it the place being cold. So to sum up excellent food will definitely go again.

Authentic Italian food, cooked by Sandro. Excellent menu and the specials board is always worth checking out. A small friendly restaurant with great atmosphere, and reasonably priced wines to help your evening go with a swing!

Well that was an experience!Booked a table to 6.30 on a Thursday night, walk in, were pointed to a table, no other diners in, okay it was early.The three of us had three courses, and the only words uttered by the waiter was "are you ready to order", and then at the end when I paid, "good night"Though I admit the food was good, it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.We won't be going back. :-(
