Incredible staff and selection of cakes. Beautiful quaint atmosphere and decor, could spend all day here! Makes me proud to live in bolsover ☕️

I have booked a table on many occasions with family and friends and The Pump never fails to satisfy ones hunger (unless they've run out of quiche which is a firm favourite with many patrons but there's other yummy food to tempt us on the menu, so definitely not a complaint :-).A wonderful, local venue, with local produce and delicious handmade, homestyle food; in a quaint cottage setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are fair considering they put a lot of effort into baking and creating fresh dishes daily and many of the ingredients are locally sourced.Would recommend.

Four of us went for afternoon tea at The Pump today. 2nd May 2022. I can honestly say it was delicious. Everything was freshly made, very tasty sandwiches, cakes & scones were very yummy. Well presented & staff were delightful. Thank you. Xxx

The pump is such a wonderful place to eat in. The staff are lovely, so polite and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is delicious. A good choice on the menu and a good portion size given. The cakes are homemade and so yummy. I will definately keep visiting this great little tearooms.

Had a lovely pre Christmas meal and too stuffed to eat anything else.....wait we've got a ham and nibbles for tonight. Now I know how the turkey feels. Merry Christmas to you all.

So glad we stopped here for lunch today. The food was delicious and it was very family friendly with a great selection of food options for our children. Really cosy and a great atmosphere. We’d be happy to visit again!

Delicious food, as ever, at the Pie Night at the Pump on Saturday evening. Wonderfully presented steak and ale pies with loads of glorious gravy for my hubby and kids and a cheese and onion pie for me, served with veg and choice of potatoes with very attentive, patient staff with our children who loved the food as well, especially the chocolate pudding with ice cream! We've already booked in for breakfast for Christmas eve, a family tradition for us. What a great place for our town.
