Called in on speck for Sunday lunch 27.2 no tables but a lovely young man said if we could vacate a table in 35mins we were welcome to dine. We were starving and the carvery was hot fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff were happy friendly and the young man made every effort not to disappoint us. Thank you so much we will be back.

Great food. Great services. I just had my dinner with my partner and by mistake I got a small carvery when paid for a large . Julie (member of staff) was really nice with us and instantly give us the proper portion size with a big smile. Mistakes happen everywhere, it all depends on how we treat them. Thanks Julie!

Lovely food, helpful staff apart from one. Older lady with glasses behind the bar. Made it very obvious that she wasn't happy I couldn't remember my table number and then got upset with the punters that weren't queueing how she wanted them to. Top tip. If you're p*ssed off, don't take it out in your customers, be polite and always remember to be nice. If I'd based it on the old lady behind the bar the review would have been a 1*....... But, your staff saved you. Everyone else was lovely, food was lovely and don't let the miserable few spoil it for you. I still recommend a visit due to the other staff and food quality. Highly reccomend the cavery.

Called in on 1st feb got a warm welcome we had breakfast it was about 10/30 am we had breakfast it’s wasn’t the freshest as it was a bit late but the food was decent and plenty of it. Only gripe I had was the state of the premises need a good makeover inside and out a good coat of paint some paint was coming off the ceiling very unsightly otherwise it was ok . The toilets were clean but not clean the fittings need a good polish just needs a bit of tlc the last time we called a few years ago it was spotless .

Chose here as its dog friendly. Good choice of food, fair prices and friendly staff. Place itself could do with a little TLC but that won't stop us going again.

We had the carvery beef it wasn't fit to eat. All fat and grisly it was horrible. And when someone came to take our plate away who looked like management. I complained she just said yes your not the first to complain we might have to find another supplier. So from what she said we're not going again for a long time.

We called for breakfast on New year's Day...... it is a basic menu, but it is help yourself, so you can have as much as you can eat....at quite a cheap price too....... Although, if you are vegetarian, you wouldn't have much of a choice. What we did have was cooked well and enjoyable.

Never had a bad carvary here. And the price is reasonable also. Always pretty full at dinner so plan accordingly. Only ever been at dinner and only had the carvary but would recommend.

All you can eat breakfast for a fiver??? You would be daft not to.. I do wish you got soft eggs rather than hard yokes tho 😕... I also sat wondering why all the staff including the chef are wandering around mask less and producing an environment of every one in the restaurant not wearing any masks whilst fetching food.. The manager should lead by example and tighten up mask wearing as nobody is entering with a mask or wearing a mask whilst mobile in the restaurant... Sigh

Follow Me here and on Instagram: @diggerdazzlerCustomer Servcie;the service here was speedy and although some of the employees seemed a little lacking in personality. When asking certain questions they seemed to be very mechanical with their smiling and thus cam feel more uncomfortable than if they just expressed their true feelings.ENVIRONMENT:The layout was good and there areas clean and appropriate. There was nothing really noted of concerns or that impacted on this visit.Appropriate for groups and families and perhaps the dog too; book ahead.FOOD:The food here is as expected; we all had the carvery and their was plenty of choice and good portion of meat. The range of vegetables on the carvery eas great and everything was cooked to perfection and was above average from my experience of these chain style carverys. The pudding was a little disappointing on the portion size which didn't really coincide with the price for me.OVERALL/SUMMARY:Great experience but slightly let down by the mechanical smiles of employees. Environmentally the place was clean and felt comfortable and relaxing. Food was a good standard but portion sizes can be disappointing on desserts.4/5 stars
