Rice & Spice in Boston

Phoned in order at 6:30 to collect at 8:00, went to collect it and the person at the till informed me it would be 20 to 30 minutes longer and could I pay now while I was waiting, the bill was undercharged and found to be a main meal missing which would be added and ready at the same time ( my order had not been started ). My new bill was more than the take away menu outside stated, the inside menu had a price increase. The person behind the till must have been the owners daughter and she wanted to be somewhere else, it's a pity because the food is good. Will not use again, Bombay lounge next door.

1st time in takeaway after 11years of being open! Normally use their delivery service which is spot on. Food was its normal delicious best. If you haven't tried this establishment, you don't know what you're missing! Give it a go!👍🏻

Had a long journey and wanted something to eat. Found this place by accident. Excellent lamb pathia and chicken dhansak, beautiful flavours that makes your mouth dance. Pleasant staff, treated well. This is a cash only establishment and no cards accepted, but card machines are 2 mins walk away.

Had a meal for two last night, it was delicious. Best Indian food I've had in ages. Delivery was about 35 to 40 min on a sat night, brilliant. Can't wait to try again.

It is rated as the best halal restaurant in Boston. The service was friendly and quick. The food is cooked by Bangladeshi to a high standard. It is take away only but is popular as it is a fair price for good food.

2nd best Indian in town. Service is great, the food is always good and the deals are great. They do a banquet for one meal in wich you get a starter a main, rice, naan and a side all for just £13 all of this is your choice so your not stuck with a set meal like most places, would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that loves Indian takeaway food.

Had a fantastic curry from here a month or so ago! They even made everything plant-based for us 👌

I hate writing bad reviews for local businesses. Its been hard for them during the pandemic.However i have to feedback on tonight's experience. The shop was very busy, always a good sign. We ordered a few bits via the phone for pick up. On getting the order home we were missing an item and one of the dishes was wrong.I called the store and just got a load of verbal from the lady who took my order. I was told my order was right and I was wrong. I paid for the items I didn't receive so how does that work.Asked to speak to Ash and was told no.As a long time customer i asked if we are really going to fall out over one wrong order. Was told yes we are and they really don't care about bad reviews as they have enough customers.I won't be back. Things go wrong, we are human. Its about how you deal with that wrong that matters. Plenty of completion now in bostonAsh ( the.owner) if your reading this, they really let you down tonight.

Excellent food, so flavoursome and aromatic. Meat cooked to perfection as was the rice and sundries. This will definitely be my go to takeaway in the future.

Was recommended this place by a friend who just moved to the area. Placed a large order for takeaway - really impressed. All done on time, really excellent food, best in the area by far. Guy even took the large box out to our car! Will definitely go again.
