Excellent Sunday lunch. Friendly and happy staff. Will definitely be going again.

The fillet steak was really nice and cooked perfectly. We had been given advance notice that they were short staffed on Saturday night but the staff were all pleasant and we understood why the service was a bit slower than it might have been on a regular night. I would return 👌

Pleasant staff and nice surroundings, however we were visiting for a 70th birthday and the food was really disappointing. Two fillet steaks came out flattened and one was so overcooked and charred. The chicken breast in creamy garlic sauce was burnt on the base. There was so much mashed potato on the plate it was overwhelming and would have fed 3 comfortably. Sadly won't be returning.

The food was nice although it could of done with being a bit hotter. It was 3/4 of an hour before we got our food, even though they said it was already prepared. The staff was nice and friendly.

Best cooked gammon I've had in years.staff are great, friendly.had an issue with daughters Lasagne being slightly voool .but no problem it was easily sorted , definitely will be going again.

My husband and I had the pleasure in dining in your restaurant on 11.1.22. My husband had the rib eye steak and said it was the juiciest and best steak he had ever tasted.I had the burger which was mega and couldn't be faulted. The chips and onion rings were lovely as well. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The service was excellent and the sweets were as good as well and each one came with jug of cream. Hopefully it won't be long before the Ball House returns to its glory days

We have been to the Ball House today with family for my wife's 50th birthday. The place itself has been refreshed and looks fantastic. Everybody commented how delicious the carvery was. We were really well looked after and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.We will definitely be back again soon.Thank you.

We were frequent visitors to the Ball House before it closed down and we were so disappointed. However we went with friends a couple of weeks ago and were so delighted to see the newly refurbished pub. The decor and table presentation was so nice and the food was excellent. The new Landlord and his wife were very attentive and friendly. We shall definitely be going again.

Really good. Portion size and value for money was excellent. Everything on the menu was either made on the premises, or sourced from local producers. We were a party of six and everybody commented on how they had enjoyed the food.

Lovely welcome and great beer. Didnt eat this time but the carvery looked and smelled great. We will be returning x
