Ye Olde Red Lion in Boston

Booked for lunch yesterday and we weren't disappointed. Service was very good and staff friendly. I am gluten free which wasn't a problem. The waitress checked with the chef before I ordered. I had gluten free fish and chips, they tasted just like ordinary fish and chips. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and I was impressed the trouble they went to ensure I had gluten free food. Well done. Will come again definitely.

First, but not last, visit to Ye Olde Red Lion. Lovely food, freshly cooked. Lunchtime was busy so definitely worth booking a table

Just called in on the off chance of a meal on mothers day. We were welcomed most cordially and were well treated. Our drinks order taken and delivered, we perused a very appetizing menu. It didnt disappoint. The food was superb. Hope they do Xmas lunch....I know where I'd love to eat. Thank you staff.

Staff very good and efficient. Food on the other hand very disappointing apart from my haddock My husband left his chips said they had a weird taste sister also underwhelmed by her burger said it could all do with some seasoning edible but not enjoyably. Such a shame as lovely little pub hopefully we were unlucky and it was just a blip in their normal standards

Been several times before food was always good. However this time we were not pleased. Very small menu even tho it was a Saturday night. Started was good although heavy on the garlic and chilli. The burger was so salty and over cooked sadly. The service was good tho and the pint was nice. Won't be coming back in hurry tho. Sorry

Absolutely wonderful place to dine definitely 10/10, the food, the service, the beer, the venue and the prices are very good. Its a place I love to visit. Thankyou to Ye Olde Red Lion for providing such a great place.

We had a great meal for our family group. The food was lovely, especially the brisket starter.

Stopped on the way from Nottingham to Norwich and they were very accommodating and polite we both had a lovely roast beef dinner that was both hearty and very tasty. Served very quickly so a couple items obviously sit in a heating tray for a bit but overall, the meal was great. Will definitely visit again and have three courses next time.Very pleased and I look forward to a more planned visit next time.

Excellent food, pleasant & helpful staff, reasonably priced! Lovely atmosphere. Definitely want to eat here again!We’ve now been here a few times & the food is always excellent, we’ve had everything from Christmas Dinner to BBQ food & it is amazing every time! They now have an American Smoker & have been smoking their own sausages for their BBQ today! Those sausages are the best sausages I have ever tasted & even my 1 year old LOVES their food! Staff are so lovely, friendly & very professional. They take pride in their work & it shows! Chef Marcus has a tremendous gift for providing a unique & amazing culinary experience from presentation down to flavour!They have adapted amazingly well to Covid restrictions & feel very safe eating here with my 1 year old!Thank you all for your continued hard work & sticking out the pandemic!
