Not so good this visit, the majority of the food was no where near hot enough food was not collected quickly enough and was left to stand under the heat lamps to long before being served extremely busy which is why the experience was not so good this time. Used the last post in Beeston Nottingham yesterday it was so much better.☀️😎☀️

I ordered a ham and cheese pizza this evening hoping to enjoy it. When the pizza arrived it was only a cheese pizza. My friend went to a member of staff and let them know about the pizza. They mentioned that they have ham and cheese pizzas so they aren’t sure why I was given a cheese one. I took the pizza back to get a replacement and the one I paid for. They brought my pizza back only to find out that it was the same exact pizza with chopped up ham and it had been microwaved! I had to eat some of it had I had paid for it and didn’t want to waste it but it was not nice at all!

Rang to reserve some seating for a small reunion and they were excellent in their service and communications. Great food and discreet polite service. Thanks.

The pub was busy for a Wednesday lunch time, most tables were occupied with couples and families, or plates from people who had left. The staff were very busy rushing around trying their best to serve and clear tables, but some hygiene spraying and cleaning was not always done quickly because of how busy the place was, and still can't understand why it was full. Food was just OK, we had mixed grill, pizzas, burgers. There was a constant stream from the kitchen to and from tables. Not sure that I would rush back to this pub again.

Safe food options that are good value.. but seeing a group of "yummy mummies" down at least 3 gins each within 30-40 minutes was sad as were the many "parents" knecking pints whislt the kids ran riot around the pub... all at 09:45 - 10:20 am.Do you really need to be drinking at that time of the morning when you've got kids.

Extremely quiet when I went in on a Friday night. To compound this, both of the drinks ordered didn't taste great (2 different lagers, and ones I've had many times before). One was almost completely left. Not up to the usual standard of what you'd expect from a wetherspoon pub

I ordered the small cod and this is what I got :p The difference between an actual piece of fish was £6 and this little strip was for £5. Quite bizzare

So I came to this pub today with my husband and our dog poppy. We sat outside and walked passed the doors to do so. The staff member I will talk about saw us and poppy as we walked by to sit down outside to have a drink together. I went in to order and drink and had a chat with the staff member. I went back outside after I ordered the drink. When the staff member bought the drinks outside we were told to drink the drinks quickly as we had to leave because we had our dog with us as they don't allow dogs anywhere inside or out on the premises. Yet they let us buy the drinks before they told us we couldn't be there. There is a sign that says assistance dogs are allowed on the premises. Absolutely no were is there a sign that says dogs are not allowed outside. Nor that they are not allowed anywhere on there premises. Most pubs will allow a well behaved dog to he outside which poppy is. And as u have come to learn it is a policy for all of their pubs. And that's fine but then they should have the signs that say this. Most people know dogs are not allowed inside places unless a service dog. But most are still allowed outside and as this isn't the case there should have been a sign saying so and we would have took our custom elsewhere where we would be welcome. Which we will be doing in the future
