Beauvale Priory Tearooms in Broxtowe

Stunning location whilst having spot of lunch. Sandwich was made with beautiful homemade bread and tasty ham accompanied with fresh salad crisps and coleslaw if wanted. My friend had a victoria sandwich which looked absolutely delicious. A good range of drinks i had the decaffeinated tea was just perfect for sunny chilled out Sunday at the peaceful, historic tea rooms.

The abbey is pretty much 2 walls attatched to a farm, but there is a nice tearoom there which is quite popular. Currently only open Friday to Sunday.Might not be brilliantly wheelchair accessible (Abbey) as its over a grassy field. But there is level access to the tearoom and accessible toilets, plus lots of outdoor seating and you can easily see the abbey remains from the outside.Finding it can be a tad tricky as it's up a little lane (partly single track) beside a pub. Turn in towards the pub car park and drive past approx 1/2 mile up to the sign then turn left.

Pleasant area overlooking a pond & woodland. The Priory ruins sits amidst farmland with sheep, lambs & we saw a couple mistlethrush birds. Sadly the cafe experience was not so great we had decaf coffee which was very wishy washy (weak) & the Gluten free brownie was a little stodgy. Choice of seating in or out & we chose outside because the cafe is very small. It was a little windy even on a warm sunny day, needed an extra layer (always be prepared!) Overall wouldn't go again

Food was gorgeous, setting is stunning and Mr show off peacock was very entertaining , beautiful place to visit

Booked a room for my girlfriend's 29th this weekend. Staff were so helpful at facilitating the event. They were on the ball, helpful, friendly and made the whole experience very easy and smooth.We all had a lovely time and would highly recommend.

Visited Beauvale Priory as part of an organised walk in the area. The cafe was busy inside the cream teas being served looked really good. Just got a tea and cake to take out. Cake slice was large and very tasty and good value. There was plenty of outdoor seating, clean toilets and bins. Good size car park for visitors not on foot. The remains of Beauvale Priory behind the cafe are really interesting to look at and worth seeing with a lovely house next to them. Bit of a hidden gem and really worth visiting.

I visited the tearooms today with friends and had a lovely vegan afternoon tea. I struggle to find tearooms that offer a vegan option ( some offer vegetarian but not vegan) so this was a refreshing change. Sandwiches, salad, crisps, scone and a piece of cake, all vegan and all very nice. Would definitely recommend it for other vegans. 😊👍🏻

We've meant to visit this place for ages. We finally made it. Excellent coffee, great staff. Fascinating history. We'll be back.

Went to a wedding at this venue and it was absolutely gorgeous, it was one of the hottest days of the year and the stone brickwork made it so cool,. It's a very rustic place with a large area for the children to play on bouncy castles that had been hired, while the parents and other guests watched them safely from benches and tables ( a parasol on the tables would have been wonderful) the food was second to none, so flavoursome and plenty to have, peacocks and chickens roaming freely was a pleasant sight,.On the whole I would give this place a 10/10

We went for lunch and the food was really good. They make their own bread which was excellent and the cakes looked really yummy too.There is plenty of outside seating with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, but at the moment you have to book to have an inside table.Afternoon tea also looked lovely and I will be back to try one of them sometime.The Priory itself is ruins but you can book a tour of them.In the area there are places to walk and woods too.
