BlueBell in Broxtowe

This pub is one of our locals and we've recently started eating there for our "date night" without the kids.Food is standard pub fare but done well. I strongly recommend making use of the various offers they have on different evenings (eg BOGOF with their burgers on Thursday etc).The burgers and steaks are a good, safe choice - inexpensive too if you use their offers well.A note for chilli heads; the scorpion wings are tasty but very hot. You have been warned!Steaks are juicy- particularly if cooked medium or medium-rare.They also have a number of veggie and gluten-free options on the menu.The staff are relaxed and friendly; helpful but not in your face.I can honestly say that we've not had a disappointing meal or experience there; we regularly go back!! Personally, I feel that the food is at least as good as another local pub where the prices are 50-100% higher.Using their offers we can usually get a main meal and soft drink for 2 adults for £10-£15, which isn't bad going.We'll be back!

Great food and nice people. It’s a shame they cancel whole sharer items off the menu due to one small part of it being unavailable - no swapping etc. The place used to be super accommodating with stuff like that, it was a shame. Other than that the atmosphere was great.

Good selection of beers including non alcoholic and great food. Well worth a visit.

Lovely village pub which is deceptively big on the inside! Good quality, very reasonably priced food. Really nice and polite staff - thanks! Good selection of drinks. Big pub garden. Will definitely go there again when I'm in the area!

Enjoyed the meal especially as it was with a voucher, 2 of us went. Staff were run off their feet as very busy, they were still very polite & helpful. One lady on the bar was taking orders plus serving, felt sorry for her, but she remained calm & smiley face

Absolutely amazing food this evening. Had 3 meals from the bargain food and it was cooked to perfection. Service was fantastic from all staff.

I would like to say the meal I have just had was amazing. Love the layout and decor the serving staff at the bar and tables were friendly and helpful. All around a great meal out. Thanks guys. I'll be booking here for my birthday meal.

Coffee ☕ Machine brokenI asked for an American CoffeeThe reply was the Machine was brokenI asked if in the circumstances as I ordered a cooked 🍳 breakfast if I could consume a takeaway Coffee ☕ from Costa on the Table along with my breakfast?The short answer was NoI went to Tesco Express down the road and got a coffee which I partly consumed at the parking area in between my breakfast which is NOT idealPerhaps the management could have allowed me to consume it on at the Table

The food was great, and the staff they were very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend will be going again. We had 21 of us they looked after us really well.
