The food here was absolutely delicious. I had the specials starter and it was the best thing I've tasted outside of a Michelin star restaurant. The food is a little expensive but the taste more than lives up to the price tag. The portion sizes were also generous which is a plus.

Incredible plant-based food, with really friendly staff. The owner/chef is super kind. Every time friends or family comes to Nottingham I always take them here :)

Utterly gorgeous food - we went for our 20th wedding anniversary and had a beautiful time (with complementary prosecco when they heard it was anniversary). It was so good we went back, with 3 teens, for my birthday and we all loved it again. Such quality, creativity and sheer cookery magic. Service is fantastic too. Cannot wait to go back!

Amazing smell on opening the door. Great menu and specials. So hard to choose! The expresso martini was fantastic as was the service. All the staff were lovely and the food was superb. Genuinely the best meal I've had in years. Can't wait to go back

I was treated to a Christmas meal by my friend and had never visited this restaurant before. The food was truly exquisite and like nothing I’d ever had before (different and special). The service was excellent and the gentleman that served us was concerned we were not warm enough, as we hadn’t removed our coats, and provided a extra heater (very thoughtful). I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something out of the ordinary!

Cafe Roya is my favorite restaurant I've ever been to on this earth! My husband is from Beeston and whenever we are in town visiting family we make it a point to eat at Cafe Roya. The staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely divine. A perfect place for a romantic dinner for a vegan and their vegetarian husband. <3

Stunning restaurant, fantastic food, beautiful surroundings, wonderful service, charming and diverse clientele, clearely attracts the more discerning foodies.Only thing I would say, is the front door needs improvement, it doesn't shut or open properly, and unfortunately some unpleasant youths barged in and insulted my husband while we were there dining.Despite this upsetting incident, I still want to give 5 stars, to Roya, as this was not the restaurants fault, but repairs, a better designed door, and a careful outdoor enclosure, or some other design would have prevented this from happening.

What a great find on our first Nottingham visit! 4 of us loved every dish we ordered and the desserts were heavenly too, including the delicious Peach Cobbler. I loved my Persian Brunch. Thank you, Cafe Roya.
