Always a great selection of well kept ales and fresh craft beers.

Great pub in the heart of Beeston. Good list of beers and ciders. Outside bar open in the summer at the weekends. Listed building with 4 indoor rooms and a large mostly covered outdoor area. Highly recommend.

Another excellent Beeston real ale pub. Good selection of beers and great outside area with heaters if needed. Often have bands and food outlets outside on a weekend.

Bar staff rude. Two bar managers on and one of the did not say please or thank you.When questioned about his manners to the other manager, the other manager supported the other manager saying he did, dispute other people supporting me and he was not even there.Ridiculous attitude and poor customer service. The staff refused to give me the landlords name or number.Heating was off and everyone sat there in coats.Nothing like it used to be. While I love good beer, manners and bad attitude have put me off this place.Update. Messaged the landlord who said they would look at the CCTV (still no sorry), and that was 3 weeks ago….no reply.

A brilliant historic pub with lots of different rooms. A great choice of beer in a warm friendly environment. Only simple food such as pork pies and sausage rolls and cobs (home made of course ,delicious!)on offer so it's focus is being a quality drinking pub which it excels in. Worth dropping in. M

Really nice place actually, I don't often go to Beeston but if I did this would be a strong contender for my local. We popped in after the cinema and it was a pleasant place, I considered dropping a star because we had to endure a table full of students next to us seeing who could play the loudest game possible on their phones; that's not really something I can blame on the venue but it did stop us staying longer. Seriously kids...earphones are a thing.

Oldie world pub in Beeston Oak Beams and a snug, big outdoor covered seating area, and a very good selection of real ale, don't do food.

Brilliant, just brilliant. Lovely old pub, it is like stepping back in time. Great outside area with a more modern feel to it. The beer selection is just colossal. Can easily spend all day here. Long may it live!

Lovely little pub! Came here for the first time yesterday and I’ll definitely be returning. Friendly staff and a good declension of beers and ciders. They have a spacious area outside too which is heated so the weather is no problem. They also have a some classic games around the pub that you can play. Overall really nice experience.
