Hong Kong House in Broxtowe

Used this place for many years..last 2 meals have been horrendous. Too much salt in everything. Must have a new chef. Will not be using again.

Solid local takeaway. Nice food prepared quickly. Had many a meal from here and it doesn’t fail to deliver.

I have order many meals from here & it's always being fine however tonight's meal was not pleasant. Either the chef forgot he'd already salted the barbecue sauce or he has purposely increased the amount he puts in cos it was inedible

Been going to Hong Kong House for many years. Sadly the food has taken a turn for the worse. Horrible processed chicken, not very nice sauces. Just not the quality we're used to - based on 2-3 visits over the last few months. We'll give it one more try and then we may have to find ourselves a new Chinese takeaway.

Just had our second takeaway from here this week and I can't get enough. The combo dishes are massive, the veg duck starter is amazing, everything is totally delicious, there's more choice than we know what to do about, and the value is bonkers. Cannot recommend enough.

The food was lovely, a lot of choice - I went for the special chow mien and the portion was big for the price! The lady was helpful and did not rush me when I was choosing one of the 300 dishes! Will come back again :)

Ordered a meal to be delivered from here. Was quoted a time but after several phone calls being told on the way, 5 mins away this was not the case 2 hours later the food turned up. We were past eating by then. This meal was ordered following a previous meal which was delivered late and cold. We had given them a second chance as the service had been good before. No-one apologised or cared that first meal was cold. Second time no-one was bothered but got a call from a lady called Janet/Jeanette who didn't really apologise but offered a free dish with next order. Called tonight to order and was told that was not the case but could have a derisory discount or possibly a little more begrudgingly if we collected. Poor customer service in fact rude stating they had not offered a free dish! I do not like being doubted they definitely offered a free dish. Will not be ordering from them again due to their attitude

Love this place ! The food is sooo tasty! I love the salt and pepper shredded chicken, We always go here, sad they took it off food hub, will continue to go to Hong Kong house

The worst chinese takeaway i've ever had! the chicken curry paste was sooo dark and salty and the complaints process was the worst. I used to go to hong kong house many years ago but the standards have massively dropped with every dish ordered. Save your money and go elsewhere!

I never use any other chinese takeaways. I would highly recommend Rising Dragon, the food is always fresh,hot and cooked to perfection and we have never had to wait more than half an hour for delivery. The driver is always very pleasant and polite. Very good value and really good portions. My personal favorite and highly recommend is the mushroom chop suey.
