The best as always. Had battered sausage chips and curry. The owner even gave me a cup of water I had no change on me and you cant pay on card.

Cooked fresh to order ✅Very generous portions (when ordering large and large) ✅Good price (within the locale) considering portion size ✅Very oily, which I'm not used to - the papers were sodden by the time I'd got back to accommodation, as well as the chips sticking to the paper, especially the batter. Shame. If made fresh the food needs to drip dry for a while before wrapping? ❌Fish is fresh and not from frozen stock ✅Card payments not accepted - ONLY CASH, which may be not acceptable to some folks ❌Great little place, for this area of Engerland and, personally, not the best I've had but, believe you me, by far not the worst!

Staying around Nottingham, I thought that I'd pop in for a bite. Ordered your basic cod & chips, for five thirty. Great tasting cod and batter, the chips were just right. Asked if I could eat in, as the walk from the hotel, was a bit far. I could, and got tomato sauce for free. My only dissatisfaction, was when I tried to turn the cod over; and the battery slid off.

My go to place for Fish and Chips in Nottingham! Pleasant staff with decent sized portions at affordable prices. (Note to company: Would recommend sorting out your phone, as you said when I was in store that you do not answer 'No Caller ID' calls, however, neither my partner nor I hide our number when calling and still no one ever answers.)

I've had a takeaway from King Cod a few times and I've always been impressed by the quality of the food for the price. I've had delicious fish, chips, sausage, mushy peas and more. The staff are always friendly and fun to talk to. Great local fish and chips - definitely recommended 👌
