food was good. staff was nice and it waa quite cheap

I actually really love the food in Luckys and the service is really good too. However, the last few times I have been there the part-time employee were always scolded even with our presence and it made us felt really bad for him. I later came to know a few of my other friends from chatting that they too felt the same. Surely good food and service towards customer are important but I think scolding your employee right in front of everyone in the restaursnt isnt really nice and respectful.

straight up delicious - their salt and pepper spare ribs, aubergine with minced pork and mapo tofu have been propping me up throughout medical school (and I'm about to graduate, so they are doing a decent job at giving me life!). only downside - the cash only thing. they should get a card machine like all other businesses in the area!

Lucky has a staggeringly large menu but you'll want to plum the depths of the traditional Chinese speciality dishes. Many of which are amazingly tasty.

Great food service and location every time. We went on new years eve and the food was lovely as always. It also has an atm next door which is very handy too.

Hands down the best Chinese I've ever had. I visit time and time again as the food is just so great. The staff are also friendly and I love the atmosphere. Deliveries are pretty much always on time and the food is fresh and hot.

If I was rating the food it would be a five star but everything else involved drags the score down to 2 , from the initial attempt at getting the order right to the constant late deliveries or wrong orders or food missing this place is now a joke which is such a shame as the lady who used to run it was such a hard working person who always greeted you with a smile when we would eat in. If you could only improve the order taking and delivery issues this would be 5 star again

visited again on Tuesday night 21st Dec 2021 , the dishes that we ordered were delicious.no sitting during tier 3 of covid-19 pandemic, takeaway only we have ordered four dishes at lunch and ate them at nearby park. all four dishes are tasty.

Tried on a recommendation when visiting on business. Pretty good authentic chinese food, tastes like being back in China. It’s not posh but it’s the real deal.

Had beef chow main. Very strong taste of Oxo cube and the noodles were very very thin 😏 Only went with them because our usual, Oriental Inn, was shut.
