Inviting warm and modern interior. Great friendly welcome and excellent service. The food is beautifully presented and is a taste sensation. I would highly recommend.

Modhu Mitha is definitely my favourite Indian restaurant, in this area. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We have been many times, over the past 20 years and we have always enjoyed it. The food is served promptly and it is always tasty. I highly recommend their tarka dhal. I could eat it on its own!

I've been a customer since they first started in the 80's. Excellent family run business. Great food and convivial atmosphere.

It was a quiet Tuesday when we went. Service was pretty slow but food tasty. Was a bit irritated to be told that the meal offer was an extra £2 because it was the 'Christmas period', bit naughty not to make that clear

Have never been to this restaurant before but will certainly return, the staff were lovely and attentive, the food just perfect and a great price too.

Had a takeaway from here last night. Everything was lovely. But when you order at 5.30 for a 7 o clock collection. And you get there after A12 hour shift and it takes a further 20 minutes to me it's not acceptable.7 o clock is 7 o clock.end of.

We have spent 2hrs waiting for our takeaway, couldn’t get eye contact with any staff to ask why, I can honestly say that the food was superb but 2 hrs after being told 1 hour isn’t acceptable !!!

After ordering the food we were told it would 40 minutes (which wasn't a problem as we took it as a sign the place is popular)I return after 40 minutes, only to wait another 20 minutes, which was frustrating, but not the end of the world.After driving home I find they've totally missed off the naans. I drive all the way back again and ask where they are. The lady at the front took my order, never apologised and 10 minutes later I had to grab another worker and ask where things were. Again, he disappeared, with no commentary and came back with my order.He checked everything was there and that was that.No sorry your order will be warm now, sorry we didn't put your naans in, sorry you had to drive home and back three times, nothing.The icing on the cake was when I got home, the meal I asked to be phall heat, was mild and not spicy at all.The food tastes lovely,I have total faith they did a good job cooking. It just feels they are too popular to give a toss about manners. When your well known around Mansfield for good food, you don't need to listen to orders or apologiseAwesome food.Apathetic, uncommunicative, unapologetic staff. If they don't mess up your order, you'll have a superb meal, if they get it wrong, they don't care.

I've been going here since I was a child and to this day, it's still great.The food has always been quality and tasty as well as being reasonably priced. I was surprised to find a 4-course menu for £15 (cheaper in the week) as it works out less than buying separately. I've spent almost double for a worse curry in the city.The drinks are also reasonably priced. Since lockdown, the price of a decent pint seems to be closer to £5 but this place sells lager like Kingfisher for less than £4.

Really nice food and a speedy service with drinks and 4 courses for two for less than £35. Very impressed with the garlic chicken starter.
