Had a meal for 4 here this evening. 2 adults and 2 children. All had starters, main course and dessert. Food was really delicious. Freshly made and well presented. For a change, my kids cleared their plates too. All the courses were really lovely. We opted for 2 of the mushroom starters, a calamari and the chicken wings. Mains were their burgers and a pizza. Dessert was their cheesecake and millionaires sundae. All in a really great experience and excellent value for money. Will definitely be back.If I had to pick a negative, the wait was a bit long, which can cause younger ones to niggle, but on the flip of that, it tells me they’re preparing everything from scratch, not slapping pre-cooked frozen food in a microwave.

Simple answer would be. Loved the food well flavoured and cooked. Two of the photos are starters mushroom & cheese the other chicken winds. The Mains chicken burger & chips, beef burger & chips and fajitas. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They catered for 10 of us which was appreciated.Hopefully when I'm down that way to visit my friends I can persuade them to have a meal there.

Better these days than when it was the Nelson. Interesting floor at the bar, see photo. Later on it was getting busy so seems it can have a good atmosphere.

Amazing food with amazing service. Cocktails strong and well made and overall amazing for the price. Will definitely be going back when we're next back this way. Definitely an amazing find.

Warning to people applying for a job here!!!!Don’t work here!! Rubbish management!!!They’ll get you in for a trial shift and get your hopes up, just for the free labour as there short staff as it is!!!Went there for and interview and it was successful so then had a trial shift and that went well and they said I had got the job.Good job I didn’t give my notice into my current job the next day because I went in to check some things because they wasn’t replying to me and wasn’t answering my calls, it turns out they had gave the job to someone else and said they don’t need me anymore and wasn’t gonna even let me know

We visited Olivers Pub & Kitchen in Eastwood for a 30th Birthday meal. On arrival we arrived 10 mins early & had to wait until our table was ready. After waiting 15 mins or so, we were guided upstairs to an empty restaurant, being the first to dine. The waiter was very accommodating, & took good care of us. After giving us time to pick from the new seasonal menu, he took our order both starters & main course, & to our surprise he took our orders without writing it down, being able to remember it all correctly. For Starters we went for Duck for one & the Camembert to share for two. Unfortunately the Duck was not what we expected, coming as a wrap just being diced duck & onions. The camembert was slightly better but lacked fineness. For main course we went for the Messy Cow Burger, 8oz Silroin Steak, Diavola Pizza & Duck main course. So Ill talk about the Messy Cow burger first, due to this being mine & there being picture to see. All ingredients of the burger were cooked perfectly; from the beef patties, to the bacon, with it coming with a pot of cheese sauce, which could be poured over the burger or nachos, or even both! The 8oz Steak was cooked correctly, reliably being told, it was very tasty! Next the Diavola Pizza, the other picture, cooked & looked as pizzas should do, being tasty too! Finally the Duck, cooked perfectly & tasted yummy, however it could of come with additional veg, as it felt like it was just Duck & potatoes. To finish, two of us chose the Warm Chocolate Cookies, these were warm, however it would of been good to have one more cookie, thus making three in total or either making them bigger. The other dessert we ordered, was the Chocolate Brownie, this could of been warmer, & have more of pack to it.So, a pleasant waiter, however the food needs to have more attention to detail, keeping it simple, & focusing on a smaller menu for the size of the restaurant.

Fantastic food and cocktails, the sweet potato fries are epic. Very accommodating and friendly staff. They managed to fit in 14 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs last minute on a busy Saturday evening, really made our weekend 😁

Brilliant, our first time . We had 12 inch pizza's with a burger each and a side of criss Cross cut fries everything tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection. No grease on the pizza's and burgers, all food was well presented and was thoroughly enjoyable 👌 especially given we had it pre ordered day before and arrived as a takeaway!!
