Huge array of plants both flowers and some vegetables.Went to the coffee shop which was very busy today. Very slow service. Some things were off the menu. I had ham salad which was very nice. My daughter had a ploughman's which she enjoyed.

Lovely afternoon tea. Friendly staff nothing to much trouble, had my grandson with us and they adjusted the portion size for him as he's only 2 years old.

·

Very busy place but the staff had time to be friendly clean and tidy wonderful cup of tea

A very tasty enjoyable lunch. Staff were very pleasant. We sat outside and were pleased we did as you have to queue through the inside to get to the counter to order. This can't be very enjoyable for people sitting inside! It was a very long wait to get to the front of the queue even though there were only about 6 before me.

First time visit to the cafe yesterday. Stood for an absolute age in a queue which is due to them plating food up as you stand at the till which takes ages. Can’t they take your order, you go and sit and then a reasonable time later your food is delievered? Wouldn’t be a very slow queue! Also, ordered a breakfast panini thinking it would be something like bacon, sausage & egg (it was nearly £6) and got asked did i want bacon or sausage?? Said bacon and it literally was just bacon in a panini on the plate. Very expensive considering a bacon or sausage sandwich was just over £3. No garnish or anything. Also ordered an egg mayo sandwich and it was nearly £6 with just some iceberg, couple of slices of cucumber and 3 cherry toms on the side. Again very expensive for what it was. The quiche looked great and was looking to order those initially but had sold out by the time i got to the front of queue. Looked value for money. Don’t understand why more wasn’t available when it was 1pm on a Saturday afternoon, could’ve sold plenty more! Quite disappointed and won’t return due to the queue and value.

Really nice little cafe. Quite crammed in terms of seating but the staff are very friendly and there is a decent choice of coffee and snacks.

·

Very nice fresh food. Can be busy, with queues, because it is so popular.

We have gone here for many years coffee is lovely and Food is so nice but today put me of as we had sausage roll and a bit of coleslaw and Waldorf salad I was charged £1.80 for each salad portion but we only have a bit not a portion so next time I’ll just have the coffee such a shame I don’t mind paying but think this is a bit steep for 1 portion as it says salad £0.90 each I class this as salad if it was 90p I wouldn’t mind as few years ago you got it free staff are so lovely I did query it to be told that each salad portion is £1.80 each so that’s four portions actually added up to more than the sausage rolls

Lovely food at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff. Have no problem in recommending this coffee shop, we shall definitely return.

Would definitely recommend. Always feels a safe & friendly environment. As closing time not displayed in coffee shop / cafe would be nice to be given more than 5 minutes notice that they were closing though.
