The Big Fish in Broxtowe

I can't recommend this place enough the young ladies that serve us always go above and beyond for my autistic child (food separation)The serving staff are always so pleasant clean and smiles on their faces even when you can clearly see they are rushed off their feet.The only issue we did have once was what I assume was a manager shouting on his phone in his native language in the shop, this really unsettled our daughter spd (sensory processing disorder) but the lady with long red hair noticed this instantly and distracted our daughter why the younger server got our order together as quickly as she could and even put a big smiley face on the wrapping of our daughters Food.Food is always hot and well presented not just thrown together like most places. The care and attention is 10/10 by the staff.

Recently visited The BIG Fish Beeston twice, now its under new management and twice we've been very happy with our fish & chips, prefer it to the cod scallops where i recently had a disappointing meal. So The BIG Fish it is from now on.Also a big thank you to the girl that serves she's always pleasant and wears a smile.😋Revisited this chippy a few times now and while the chips are nice the fish is hit and miss and the new staff never smile and serve you while listening to music through ear pods, quite rude I thought.

Our local fish and chip shop. Always fresh and the staff are very friendly.Our usual go to here is Fish bites, chips and curry sauce 😍Would highly recommend ordering from here!

Certainly not the worst chippie that I've visited but not the best either.Staff seems friendly enough but service is quite slow. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are average. Quality isn't too bad although I've had much better chips from other places.

Had at a friends today ordered a meat box and I have to say the chips and kebab meat are the worst I have ever had kebab meat was a grey and looked undercooked and the chips were not cooked properly absolutely a waste of money

Absolutely fantastic fish and doner kebab, nice and hot for me every time. Wouldn’t hesitate to come, best in Beeston. Extra bit being they served doner and salad in separate box, which won’t make the wrap soaky on the way back.

Went here for the first time in years today as normally use Gills which was shut. Was really impressed, beautiful freshly cooked haddock and chips were good too. Will definitely use again.

Perfect! Best chippy in Beeston!Edit: a lot of people complaining about delivery time - the fact that they are busy goes to show how popular they are. If you come to collect, the staff are courteous and prompt.All the other ‘chippies’ nearby are just chancers who give you frozen french fries and other frozen nonsense and charge you a premium for the poorest quality food.
