Lovely public house with plenty of outdoor seating. Food was plentiful/tasty an very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch here a few times recently. All fresh, homemade food (no frozen roasties etc) and friendly, efficient staff. Lunch is £8.99.They’ve also got a very reasonable weekday meal offering from £5 Wednesday to Saturdays but I’ve not personally tried them yet but definitely intend to!Place is clean and comfy but nothing fancy but definitely a genuine community local.

Didn't realise they didn't serve food on Mondays or Tuesdays so we're disappointed. It's a nice and big pub.

back again to the boat and horses for the northern soul event. Fantastic pub ,great atmosphere, lovely staff. Good menu,Had a bite to eat, the food was excellent. Had a chat with the landlord, great guy. As I said it's a great pub, with so much going for it. People need to come down and support their local establishments like the boat and horses and put money into places like these that are the heart and sole of the community. I will be back again 👍👍

Attended a private function but felt a part of the pub atmosphere. Excellent outside safe family friendly large area with plenty of seats and well lite later on. Very wheelchair friendly as well. Staff very attentive. Was my first visit but will definitely not be my last.

Lovely service, very welcoming, polite, couldn't have done enough for you. The food was yummy but the beef was over cooked for my personal preference, although my friend loved his. And bar missing stuffing we left with very full and happy bellies 😁

Stopped by for a pint while my son had footy training. Great service and a large beer garden. Would like to come back for food one day 👍🏻
