I strolled past this pub on the way from Strelly and just had to go in for a simple meal and a pint. Atmosphere and food did not disappoint me!

Great Little Pub with a very large Garden and play area for the kids.Went to this place for a few drinks was greeted by Alan who took me to a table and took my drinks order. The drinks arrived very quickly and then Alan offered to take a food order. I wasn't eating on this occasion but have eaten here in the past and always had the Sunday roast which I do enjoy.Thanks for the great service Alan.

After walking from ilkeston, I decided this would be a great place to stop off. I wasn't disappointed either.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was well presented and tasted great.Great atmosphere too.Fantastic beer garden too when the weather permits!

The quality of the food was good but of 9 meals 7 were cold 2 stone cold and had to be recooked. Although we were offered free drinks ( which were warmer than the meals) for the trouble. Upon lighting our sons birthday cake we asked the girl serving us if she would cut it up for us but upon entering the kitchen the manager asked her ( what now?) Which he didn't think we heard. We won't be returning unfortunately.

Got shown to a table straight away.The lady seated us and told us she would be right back to take our drink order.............14mins later, she came back to take our drink order, and got on with it.The pub wasn't busy, but it took that long.From there on, everything was brilliant, food was well presented, hot, fresh and lovely.Still loved my 1st time there, and I would go again

Nice pub located in Strelley Village out the way. Large beer garden and car park. Has guest ales on tap that change frequently. Nice friendly atmosphere and service. Great pub to visit for a pint after a walk.

Lovely pub, friendly staff 🙂They host a Music Quiz at 7.30pm on a Tuesday night, with a few games of Sticky 13's, could win yourself some cash or a Greene King gift card, it's a good laugh !!(you need to bring cash to pay for quiz/games, £1/person for each)

Really disappointed and unwell after leaving......The food here is shocking and made me very unwell after leaving. A real shame especially when it's location is perfect for those lovely walks through miles of countryside with friends and family. Unfortunately the only positive is mobile App ordering and dog friendly. That's as good as it gets.... sorry.
