Having a table next to the fire it was nice and cosy. The staff were very friendly, food was nice and came out quickly. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.

Nice food ,server lady was very nice and chatty. Bar service was very poor waited to order drinks a big queue .then people jumping in and being served first won’t be going back

Could be a lovely pub with friendly customers, nice log fire. But it's how it's ran I'm not happy with.. There is a small brunette female I believe is manager is a not friendly at all. No people skills whatsoever.. Every time I've gone there she has given me a unwelcoming feeling. On one occasion I was sitting with my partner who I live with after the lockdown she comes over and says I can't sit with her so I had to move away from her even though she is part of my bubble and I live with her. And another time I came in I wanted to eat.. As soon as I came in she says abruptly said bookings only not accommodating me in the slightest.. I'm a regular member and come in numerous times a week spending on food and drinks but because of her unwelcoming and un-accomodating attitude I choose to not come as much. Because I want to sit next to my partner and like to still be welcomed better than I do.. I think she needs to go on a customer service course.

Shocking! Came here for Christmas Dinner. All frozen food even the veg had been microwaved was rock hard. The roast potatoes burnt and rock hard. Have no words. Wasted so much money. Ruined Christmas to be honest. Never seen anything like the dessert either I don't know whether to laugh ot cry. Avoid at all costs don't waste your money.

Cannot be more grateful for the accommodation of my grandads wake. It was a beautiful service and the food was incredible. We was made to feel at home and nothing was too much hassle, we are all grateful for such a beautiful finish💖

Good food and drinks, some staff a little surly. Staff did at least ask how the food was which was appreciated, will definitely go back again. Have booked for new years eve so they must have got things right. shame some staff don't realise they are in a service industry and have a word or two for customers, otherwise would be a 5.

Absolutely poor Christmas dinner, turkey fabulous, frozen roast burnt potatoes, frozen Yorkshire pudding one pig in blanket frozen mixed veg and a fresh parsnip…. no stuffing can only say we won’t be back again next year. £50 each. there were 10 of us if you can’t be bothered don’t offer the service 😡

We used the Cadland for a funeral buffet. We arranged it with Anne-Marie who was there on the day. Everything was sorted without any fuss and it all went off very well. She even came to tell us her shift had finished and just wanted to check everything was ok. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was great. Thank you very much.

The service was perfect. I had the mixed grill which was surprisingly disappointing. Everything was over seasoned. It looked lovely, but the mushroom was completely burnt and the chicken breast had been crucified. The gammon was perfect, apart from being apparently heavily seasoned with salt and pepper. The sausages were cooked perfectly and were tasty. The rump steak was tender and tasty. The peas and onion rings were both over cooked. The eggs were perfect. Overall a big disappointment. The pudding I had was delicious. My two companions both really enjoyed their meals.

Seven of us went for a meal here after my daughter's Law graduation, which should have been in 2020 but had been postponed due to Coronavirus. We had a lovely afternoon at the graduation, followed by a very nice meal with a few drinks. Everyone was very happy with the food and service and said how much they had enjoyed the occasion.
