The Corn Mill in Broxtowe

Come here every Saturday to eat, came down this evening with friends for something to eat, drink and watch the football. Came down early to get a table with a view of the TV. Ordered drinks just about to order food to be told we need this table back by 7.30pm. By which time all other tables with a view were all taken. Thanks Cornmill nice to know you look after your regulars. Will find somewhere else to go now who looks after loyal customers.

We are locals to Chilwell and I'll literally never step foot in this pub again.They served me half a cocktail and when I went back to the bar to tell them what they had served me was ridiculous the two bar ladies behind the bar were SO rude to me.We came here for a bite to eat after a horrid day and then had horrid service. The crispy chicken burger was mushy too, what a horrible experience. Sincerely hope the two girls behind the bar go through some retraining. Will be posting all about this on my instagram food page too so all my followers can avoid.

Had a lunchtime menu option and it was perfect. Nice food, friendly staff and a fair variety of food. The bar guy was helpful and very polite, I think his name is Haydn, quite knowledgeable. Would definitely go again

Always rated the Corn Mill. However went this lunchtime and disappointed to see a very limited menu due to staff shortage which is understandable in these troubled times. Strange though that we could order rump steak with all the trimmings for £12.49 but not basic steak and chips on the lunchtime menu for less than £7. Thought less to cook would have made it easier for a skeleton staff. Perhaps it should be on your website you only have a limited menu. Nevertheless another excellent meal

Had a evening meal 16/01/22, with family of three. Didnt find the experience very pleasant. Ordered our food which arrived 50 minutes later, which we found to be quiet a delay, and not being too busy. But we put it down to maybe staff shortages. I had ordered the All amercian burger, which was supposed to be buttered chicken in a toasted warm bun, fries and onion rings...but was presented with a stone cold burger that the cheese hadn't even melted, cold fries/onions. So asked for another one cooked. 15 minutes later my food arrived again. This time they had pre-cooked the same onion rings so they came back burned/overcooked. Burger seemed to be same over cooked. And the fries seems large in number, because the new fries had been placed onto of old ones. So this had been a bad experience and afraid we will not return

Worst place I've ever been for a Sunday lunch food was all dry and microwaved, I don't know how this place has any decent reviews for food. We will never step foot in this place again. You need to change your kitchen staff and change the way you cook Sunday roasts wasn't cooked looked like freeze dried food

I have been to the corn mill several times now, always good service food excellent good value for money.

Went for a meal this evening with my daughter, 15/10/2021. Good atmosphere, food was good quality, serving staff were effecient and smiley. This is my lasagne 😋

Had my surprise 60th birthday meal here. Lovely meal - and Gluten Free. Staff were great and went the extra mile to make my day special. Brought a cake to the table for me. Great family get together. Would certainly return on another occasion, for a meal or just a drink. Great atmosphere. Comfortable and clean. Thank you!!

Very nice food, cooked fresh and hot. Served in good time and very nice welcoming staff. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.
