Love the staff here always positive friendly and male everyone feel welcome. Never had a bad meal either :)

Very clean and tidy. Enjoyed the main.

Clean and warm staff prompt in tidying up. Wasn't to busy Sunday got a table around 20 minutes for food to arrive

Not been here since before Covid. It was recommended and we enjoyed most of our meal. The beef burger I had was really good. My husband's rib eye looked and tasted more like sirloin and was over cooked as they come out on hot plates still cooking. Would go again though.

If you've got a few hours to spare to wait for food, it might be worth trying. The quality of the food wasn't bad but the lack of service and communication is extremely frustrating. Staff walk around without looking up to see if they can help so it just means you have to constantly get up and go to the bar to ask for updates.

Very disappointed!!Service for food was extremely slow. When we asked where the food was, the staff apologised, and initially offered us a free drink....but then the food turned up soon afterwards, they changed they mind and rescinded the offer, even though we'd waited nearly an hour.To compound matters, the food was only like warm when it arrived.Whilst the delay was poor, the offer of drinks would have appeased our party, but to then not deliver it having agreed to provide isn't was simply appalling.Whilst the menu was different, the customer service means we won't unfortunately be rushing back.

We have had a couple of fine meals here recently...one of these was on a Sunday..the wait time wasn't too bad...about 25 mins. As all restaurants know..longer than this can lead to adverse reviews..if the Festival can keep the wait times to about that then they will enjoy continued success..we will be visiting again...

We visited The Festival Inn yesterday for the first time since reopening from lockdown. Firstly the makeover is fantastic, really made a huge difference to the dinning experience. Very fresh and stylish. The staff are amazing, very friendly and provided one of the best dinning experiences I've had in years. The food was spot on and excellent value for money. Also so pleased they are dog friendly with a dedicated area indoors and was presented with a bowl of water and a dog treat without having to ask.This is what makes a perfect local while also being part of a large chain. I really hope all other Green King's come and witness how you operate as they could learn alot. Also wanted to point out that even during a busy lunch period where all seats outside were full and several groups inside, they were operating with 2 members of serving staff. Drinks were served within a few minutes of ordering on the app while food came within 15-20 mins, which is more then acceptable. Honestly I can't praise you enough. Great job everyone 👍
