Had fish and chips in the beer garden looked nice to be honest but was tastelessI would advise the staff who brought our meals out have their hair tied up as it was blowing in our food not very hygienic

Finally. A place that serves Mashed Potato as standard on the menu.And at a price even my 83 year old mum found reasonable.great service, great surroundings, great local customers too.will come more often, so i don't have to endure a carvery for her fix of mash. PS, long live liver and onions.

Great food at cheap prices, not cheap for beer but lots on offer and good, local ales. Good friendly staff.Large beer garden with lots of seating and scenery. Slide and swings.Pub is a grade 2 listed building so low ceilings and lots of character.For all of the reasons above it can get so busy that the specials board sells out so booking is recommended.

Really enjoyable Sunday here. Very good real ales and a nice selection. Also has a very spacious beer garden at the back for sunny days. Can recommend.

Very nice place. We were passing through the area and stopped of for a bite to eat. The staff were so friendly. People were nice and chatty. Food was out of this world, everything was fresh and tasty.

Dropped in to what's clearly a busy pub. Tables reserved in advance. We managed a table and thoroughly enjoyed our food. Good quality, great portions and value for money.

Traditional English pub with large car park and garden area with outdoor seatingGreat selection of draught beers including moretti as well as the usual Carling. Also some draught bitters. Love the fish and chips here as the batter is always crispy and lovely mushy peas too. My friend chose the salmon and new potatoes. Quite a few specials on the board too. Good friendly service too.
