Nice garden. Can't comment on the rest of the place as we only stayed for about half an hour. (had a table booked). But would have happily stayed there.Extra star for the Giant ape statue.

Great pub to visit. Loads of real ales and other drinks...Home cooked pizzas .. massive family garden and other large sitting areas... Several large TVs..

Nice Location with a large outdoor area. We have been there last Saturday and had a Super Service at the Bar. I was undecided because of the great selection so the barmaid took her time and even let me try a beer "shot". Good job, i felt very comfortable as a customer.

Enjoyed the experience, old fashioned pub with all the real ales, wasn't sure about what to have and got a great recommendation from the bar staff and enjoyed the beer was also staying at the pub for 3 nights, and the rooms were very good and well cleaned and looked after, and it was great because I got a good nights sleep, strongly recommended, thanks to all @ the Star in.

We had a very low-key wedding reception here, and it was absolutely perfect. The manager (Becky) and the bar staff (James & Dan especially) couldn't have done more to help us. Great food, great drink, and a great time had by all. Highly recommend this brilliant pub!

Went for a jar or two with friends and loved it. Biggest beer garden in Beeston was actually pretty big. The Boat and Horse in Rylands is close but not quite. The staff were pretty friendly and informative. I kind of imagined the garden but with DJ party vibes with decent house and techno music playing but I'm not sure the residents would feel the same way. Back in the 90s maybe but music in general these days is either none senseicle in an arty farty way, or it's just plain boring. Back to the pub though, I like.

Easy place to find. Staff were friendly. They had a fantastic range of different ale's on the tap. The woman on the bar let me sample a ale to see if I like it or not

Absolute not-so-hidden gem of Beeston! Without a doubt the best selection of craft ales and stone baked pizzas this side of Nottingham. Love to call this place my new local!

Stayed here overnight. Nice and clean and all the amenities you need. The pub itself has a great selection of real ales and the food is amazing.
