Angies Fish & Chips in Charnwood

AWFUL SERVICE!!!!!! i’m honestly disappointed we ordered food it wasn’t what was advised this is the second time my items haven’t all come i called them up and asked what’s happening with my missing items the man on the phone proceeded to shout at me over the phone asking what my address is being quite aggressive said my items would be here in a hour and never shown up nor did i get a refund that man was absolutely awful to me spiteful person never ordering from here again

My housemate and I always go for Angies for our Friday night takeaways. Their chicken burgers are very tasty (most chippies, chicken shops etc have very bland burgers in comparison), and their wings are the tastiest I’ve had in the area! Chips they do are lush too, and it’s not expensive at all!

Poor experience - Food came luke warm and a handful of chips were cold. My friend and I both had diarrhoea for the following two days, caused by the food.Customer service was 1/5. The lady who was serving me had a passive aggressive attitude which she coated by consistently calling me “darling” and “sweetheart”.Not going back and wouldn’t recommend.

Great food great price lovely staff who goes the extra mile always clean when you go into the shop

"Large" cod & chips. Called the shop to collect the order back and was told it was a "supply issue". I don't doubt it was.It was a a failure to supply a large cod & chips. This cost £16

The delivery driver couldn't find my house and called to ask me to come out to them. I said i was feeling unwell and could they come to my door. The driver told me they were not happy and put the phone down on me. I went outside to find the driver but she wasn't even in the right area! Eventually i got my food which was luke warm and there was a massive dark hair laying on my chips!!! My burger was just a soggy mess and tasted disgusting. absolutely discracful service and food. I will never be ordering from them again.

Called In here while working away in the area. From Yorkshire so love my Fish n Chips, although I didn't order chips the ones I saw being served looked excellent, as was the fish I received. Cooked to perfection and the batter was lovely too, I ordered some chicken wings too and these were as stated " spicey".Reasonably priced and worth a visit if you're in the area. Struggled to see who was Angie but she's doing a good Job

SHOCKING SERVICE!! Chips had a large dark hair in them. Upon calling was told they wouldn't rectify the issue caused entirely by their lack of attention when preparing our food. So no replacement hair free chips were sent out and no good will, absolutely NOTHING! I would strongly avoid angies if you would like to eat food which is prepared to the right hygienic standard. The other thing was for £2.20 the small portion of chips were a joke! The chips portion size was that of a half sheet of a4 paper. You couldn't even feed a child with the size of their small chips. See pictures attached for how small a small chips is and the hair that we found. We normally collect but with lockdown we decided to order and this is what we get!!

Great they have vegan sausage! Chips were great and overall delicious, just annoying that you have to get it as a meal.(vegan sausage)

I want to give you 4 stars for making me sick but i guess ordering to much food is all on me :)Great food and fast delivery though Deliveroo all here in 25 minutes and all done shortly after. Thanks for keeping me fed during the lockdown :) #staysafe
