Curzon Arms in Charnwood

This place is nice and is well known as a good place to eat. The atmosphere is nice - there was a log burner, decor was nice, etc. Good selection of beers and a big cocktail menu for those who aren't driving home! The food was good but not excellent, and the service left something to be desired - apparently they were having delays in the kitchen but it seemed like the waiting staff were keeping away too! Still, I'd go back again to see if the second visit is better than the first.

Popped in for lunch with friends, we were made to feel welcome from the very start. Once at the table the staff gave us time and space to order drinks and choose from the extensive lunchtime menu.Food was lovely, every dish and every course. I'd eat there again and on our experience recommend you give this place a try.

Lovely place for a family lunch. We had a slight issue but it was resolved really quickly. The staff were really helpful polite and professional. It was a lovely lunch.

This was our first visit and a little concerned re negative feedbacks but we thoroughly enjoyed the food.Two excellent steaks and Morrocan Beef, followed by Chocolate cookies and Orange Pannetone- all served by a wonderful attentive waitress.Will certainly go again!

Had a great time, haven't been before and met there with a group of 8. I ordered the mac and cheese and it was fab. My partner and my Dad were huge fans of the special which was hot pork pie and gravy- one of the best they've had. Staff were very attentive and always asked if we needed any more drinks etc.Will definitely come for our next meet up.

Good meal, lovely food, staff seemed very rushed, order was wrong a few times and took 6 times of asking to get some table water. Food didn't let us down though and was lovely to be in our own dome.

Decent food. But needs more vegetarian options. When I was there the options were a pasta dish or Mac and cheese. You can walk around inside using Google Street view of you want a look

Difficult to decide between all the delicious food on the menu but enjoyed a huge, crispy fish finger sandwich, sitting nice and toasty by a crackling log fire. Even space to park the horse!!

Love the food, great beer selection, really nice ambience. We ate in the late afternoon and it wasn't too busy, though we had booked in case. They were happy for us to take the dog in too.

We sat in one of the igloo tonight. Meal was presented very nicely and food was very hot. Staff regularly checked that we were happy. Cost very reasonable. Took a little while to pay but that's expected on Friday night. Would definitely come again.
