Friendliness of the staff was excellent; everywhere was very clean; food was good but sadly, the bed was excessively hard. Next time we'll bring a mattress topper. Perfectly situated for visits to family and very welcoming of our dog. We will be back.

Made very welcome by the staff shown our booked table as we walked in .Once seated we were asked if we would like drinks.Our drinks arrived within 3 minutes, given plenty of time to choose from an extensive menu giving plenty of options.Food arrived very speedily nice portions and very tasty.Wasn't rushed at all nice selection of sweets.Throughly enjoyed our visit

This place is a little gem. Fantastic restaurant with a lot of character. The food here is very nice with offerings that you don't find in your average pub. The staff are friendly and helpful. A favourite that we return to time and time again.

Nice little place to stay and eat at. Nice size rooms. Comfy and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Dinner options are what you expect on a pub. Breakfast was freshly cooked so that was great.

We decided me and my partner would treat ourselves to some weekend lunch, but that's where the treat stopped.The meat pie pastry was still raw and the mash looked liked it had just come out of the furnace, horrible skin on top and very very dry.The burger was clearly frozen and not fresh and the chips were luke warm, overall it wasn't a great experience, only reason why I gave it 2 stars was because the drinks were decent.Such a shame as we used to love this pub 😔

The rooms are comfortable and the food is good but above all the staff were exceptional. They were friendly, polite and helpful. They made us feel so welcome

Wonderful food with excellent service. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant itself was beautiful. I highly recommend this place. On a plus side I noticed they also welcome dogs.

Booked for a short weekend away, we were greeted to a Halloween Ball which was brilliant. The atmosphere was fantastic, service exceptional (all staff and manager, Sean, were brilliant the whole night) and the music was spot on. Rooms are lovely and really comfortable. Breakfast for us was included in our stay and was also great. Can't fault it and would definitely recommend.
