Food was gorgeous as normal definitely keep going fast becoming a favourite

Great food for great price always deliver on time or early food cook to standards and always hot staff always lovely on the phone

If you order from this place don't say I didn't warn you, Its now 8:15pm on Tuesday 30th of November and my what you shouldn't call a Chinese has just been delivered, I ordered it at 6 pm with high hopes. I called to see where the food was at 19:50 to be told that they are extremely busy but when I spoke to the the delivery driver he confirmed it was a very slow night. The food is shocking 😐 soggy noodles, Bland meat and worst of all the salt chilli pepper chips came without salt chilli or Pepper,I dont write many negative reviews( please check this out) but this place is shockingNEVER EVER AGAIN AND I MEAN NEVER

I love Golden City, their food is fresh and delicious. We have been ordering from them for close to a decade and wouldn't go anywhere else. Its always a treat

Ordered pad thai where the noodles were cut up so small, had to be eated with a spoon. Chicken was dry and the dish has to be seasoned so that it was edible.Also ordered a green thai curry. The chicken is not fresh, its pre cut frozen chicken chunks. Did not look appetising. Where on earth were the vegetables you get with your green thai?? Also sauce was pale, I ate 1/3 of it and next day I woke up with a diarrhoea and not feeling well, not good at all! I am pregnant and it is a shame that this take away place does not care about its food safety.Have paid £2 for delivery, order was 40 minutes late.

Delicious food and if you like a good Chow Mein then this is your shop! Big portion and quick delivery/take-away.

Just ordered a Chinese from golden city was told it would be 40mins for delivery 1 hr 20 mins it finally arrived! Very disappointed the lemon sauce was salty and tasted like dish water, the chicken balls tasted undercooked too. The egg fried rice was okay and the prawn crackers too. Safe to say though we will not be ordering from them again !

Thank to realy nice man delivery was really quick(few minutes before time). I Order it for small family party and we will recommend it to everybody. Food was outstanding, arrived hot and portion sizes were big. I will order in this restaurant again.

Order from here whenever we have a Chinese so couple of times a month. Lovely food, reasonable price, friendly service and fast delivery. My children vote Golden City the best in Loughborough! :D

These used to be brilliant but really are going down the pan. I suspect they are re-heating the food as had poor deliveries on 2 orders - particularly the rice. Made my other half quite poorly. Will be avoiding from now on. Good value..but that's why!!
