Junction 23 Lorry Park in Charnwood

Dated/basic inside but clean. Showers need a revamp I'm not leaving phone, wallet, keys outside the cubicle where anyone could take them! Cubicle looked tiny (I'm only a 38"waist & it felt small.)Cant comment on the food, as nothing appealed to me on the menu.Tried the bar area for food/drink but no staff behind the bar, got bored waiting.It's rair that I treat myself to the "luxury" of a truck stop, overall I wish I hadn't bothered tonight.

£28.00 parking includes food The food here is fantastic Roast beef Yorkshire pudding peas carrots parsnips lashings of gravy and mashed potato

I was driving past, needed a break and I stopped here. I thought it was a great place. Had no dramas parking up, the place has a shower and clean toilets. The menu is insane. You can literally eat what ever you want. Alot to offer. The coffee is decent and the ladies that worked there were very polite and understanding. If you need a break and are hungry, this is defo the place to get a 30/45 min rest.....

Good showers and toilets, pity you can only get the WiFi in the cafe, and not all around the truck park.

Parked up for over 3 hours to then be told the space I have parked in belongs to the haulage company that shares the yard by 2 snotty rude women!! if they don't want people to park there it should be clearly marked, good thing I still had duty time to move the truck... wont be staying here again!!! Plus its £30 for 24hrs and not even a meal voucher 👎

Nice little place. Choose this location because of SNAP. Big SHAME not giving Meal Vouchers. Just be aware of this. 👌

Went in last week for the 1st time in 5 + years.Still clean . Loos are excellent as are showers.Food was great , fresh home cooked, every stop should be like this, proper parking all marked. ANPR entry 2 hrs free parking. Garage shop pub at night. Can't fault it it's as good as ever .. Well done to the staff 👍

Not a trucker but have called for breakfast once before which was excellant. Unfortunately the service today was very slow despite us being the only customers in the cafe and the food being pre cooked. My scrambled egg on toast was poor, burnt toast and scrambled eggs with water in that made the toast soggy. No wonder the Eastern Europe truck drivers prefer to cook their own food by their tractor units.

Shocked & disappointed with my visit today to find what was once a very pleasant truck stop. The vehicle park was packed with eastern block tractor units & the toilets were filthy only 1 not blocked up. Cafe was empty whilst the eastern block drivers were using the facilities but cooking by their vehicles.

Lots of space to park up. We only stopped to fuel up the truck and ourselves! Spotlessly clean inside and out.Cafe was immaculate despite being busy. We had two cheese, ham and salad sandwiches and two coffees for £6, the hot food smelt amazing and the curry I saw being dished up looked great.They have a separate lounge area with a fully stocked purpose built bar, lots of very comfy looking seats and a stage.
