It's a gem of a restaurant situated in Anstey . Our first visit but definitely not our last . The portion sizes are big so bring a hungry appetite the food is delicious hot and very tasty . The service is excellent and the staff are friendly. The prices are very good value. A lovely Mother's day treat .

Really great food and great staff. We had a table for 7 last night for our daughters birthday, made to feel really welcome. Recommended.

Shared a mixed platter with my 3 daughters and there was more than enough for us all. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was very tasty and well cooked, the salad was nice and fresh and everywhere nice and clean. Small niggle was the small tables which made it difficult to get everything on the table and was very cosy! Good value.

We had a take away and it was absolutely amazing I would highly recommend trying it. Next time it will be a sit down meal definitely. The staff were great too very friendly. Thanks for a great meal.

Lara is a lovely, traditional, well decorated, clean, local Turkish restaurant.Food was just better than average, not as great as expected. Great selection of menu, lots of meats, seafoods, vegetarian dishes to choose from, also plenty options for desserts & drinks.Staff was really friendly, helpful, generous, got out of their way to help, EXCELLENT customer service and we had a great fun night out.Parking - no parking for restaurant, there are nearby street parking, including disabled parking, plenty parking in a few minutes walk car park, believe it’s free (not 100% sure)

Delicious food (I had the vegetarian beyti) and plenty of it! Complimentary flat bread and dips were fab. They were very busy on the Friday night and the service was sporadic but I would definitely go again. The "chicken casserole" was more like a soup but all the other dishes we ordered looked great. The photo shows the shared meze starters (cold and hot).
