McDonald's in Charnwood

The absolute worst maccas in Canberra, rude, incredibly slow, have been shortchanged and they couldn’t even b bothered to fill the drinks properly. So many shocking experiences. Avoid!!

It's awful. If I could give no stars, I would. It doesn't have anything good, or even NORMAL. Cold fries, warm drinks, burgers bad maked, and it's always the same, I've been there many times from long time and it never changes. I'm sorry, but this is the truth.

I always order a burger with nothing on it but 2 patties and they always mess it up is only one

Useless drive through workers. More than 50% of the time we have gone through the drive through the order is wrong! You have no time to check the bag before being forced to drive off. My son wanted chicken pieces today for lunch but when we arrived home found the order was the spicy chicken! My son couldn't eat that and it burnt his mouth. The original order for the sundae size was wrong as well. Pay attention people!!!!

Driveway entrance is not designed for hatches and sedans. Highly likely to scrape your front bumper even if you enter very slowly. Not welcoming at all.Edit: went back 1 year later and disappointed again. Cold fries after I ask for fresh fries. Left to wait in the waiting bay for 10mins then someone came out to ask what I was waiting for. After all that I was given half full fries. Waste of money.

Been there 3 times and everytime either my fries are missing or my burger isn't what i actually paid for, there is always something wrong with your order. Always check your order before picking up to make sure they have given you everything as per your order.

Its like every other maccas on the planet, what do you want me to say? Been to one, you've been to them all. There's a wheelchair ramp, some outdoor seating and a drive through.

Successfully got drive thru and didn't end up with bullet holes in the car. Highly recommended

It's ok but sometimes I get ripped off and can't drive back to show them what they did, like my half empty cup of Oreo beverage! The Banana bread is so dry that I'm amazed they are still proudly displaying it as if anyone would want to buy it!

This McDonalds is a regular fast food restaurant. The menu is the same. The staff sometimes can get it wrong. The drive thru can make you wait. The young trainees serve you looking nervous and not knowing how to properly use the register. Sometimes the toilets aren't too clean and the tables are dirty. The manager can be directing trainees and using a voice loud enough and stressing enough to even give me anxiety as I wait in line. With orders flying everywhere and sometimes lines of customers out the door and children shrieking and running around full of sugar and on the playground ... this McDonalds, despite its flaws, is amazing. We are all human so the above problems happen even to the best of us but the staff here over the years have been courteous, kind, helpful and it's made it feel warm and welcoming. I have been coming here since my kids were in the pram now they are taller than me. Over the years we have been delighted with the service of many of the staff and were extremely sad as they moved on. Rowan who used to work on the McCafe making coffee was one in particular who always went above and beyond. His coffee was legendary and I even saw customers waiting for him to arrive and refusing to order till he was making it. The staff provide table service with a smile and make you feel at ease and my children have been delighted over the years with free balloons and stickers and games given to them. Leonie is a gorgeous staff member who is always ready to help you with a smile! The playground too has recently had a wonderful upgrade. The McHappy days are fun with face painting, hair coloring, and entertainment. So even though it's only a regular McDonalds, it's a part of the local community and a place to meet up with friends and enjoy a tiny break. To have a chat to the staff about your day and have a laugh about a joke. To walk in and feel comfortable and relaxed.Thank you Charnwood Maccas for all your hard work to make us all happy.My 11yr old son wants to propose a new item to sell on the menu.
