Avoid staff really rude mess orders up then shout at you over charge you for bad food that's not cooked properly and never clean anything or wash hands will avoid at all cost will never go there again

Nice chips, fair prices and friendly staff. Parking was easy and you can order ahead. Cash payment or a £1 charge. Pizzas recommended

Great chippy they will cater for all of your tastes and just good food the best in the village for fish and chips

One of the best in Leicestershire. You have to wait a little for your order but definitely worth it.

Just going to leave a 5/5 review with a big shoutout to the girl with with really rosy cheeks and plaits I’m not sure of her name but she was so lovely she looked rushed off her feet but she was trying her absolute best and you could just see it. It’s good to see youngsters with such a good attitude and she was willing to do as well as possible. Had a lovely experience and not to mention the food was amazing,just the right amount and such good quality. Definitely going to come here again.

Whilst the young lady was preparing my order she put her finger inside her ear and then continued to prepare my order, I thought that was absolutely disgusting so I asked her nicely if she could was her hands as I had just seen her put her finger in her ear. She responded abruptly saying “no I didn’t “ I informed her that I had literally just watched her do it! ( no sure why someone would make that up) she responded by saying that she had rubbed her ear with the back of her hand, again I asked to wash her hands as I had clearly just watched her put her finger inside her ear. The owner of the shop told her to wash her hands which she didn’t, she just used some hand sanitizer and continued to prepare my order.

Would be nicer if you stopped selling raw chips!Try leaving them in the frier longer, instead of rushing.When's the last time you quality checked your own food?

I've been living walking distance to this chippy for 14 years and never used it because it smells like Skeggy because of the fat they use. My partner had some chips there and confirmed they tasted like they smelt. I tried it again tonight as heard they was under new ownership and think the smell is better, but no, they tasted of that cheap cooking fat and will continue to go to Rothley Chippy. Its a shame that they can't sort it out and have to get in the car to go down to Rothley
