6 of us here for a late dinner (10,30pm). Had a really nice meal. Shashlick chicken with sauce was excellent! Service was very good too! Thanks!!

Ordered twice this week. Very very happy. Delivery has been much faster than the estimate.The korma and Peshawari naan were generous on the coconut, which is exactly what I like.Vindaloo and Naga were both very nice and spicy too.I preferred ordering directly from the website rather than using justeat. The card payment process is a bit old school but fine.

A fantastic curry. You find it harder to get a better one.

My wife and I came to The Mugal for a meal to celebrate having a child-free evening. We had a pre-meal drink in The Swan In The Rushes (great selection of beers, definitely worth a visit) before coming over the road for food. The interior of the Mugal is modern and stylish. We were warmly welcomed and, since it was early evening, we were able to choose our table. The menu was a good mix of dishes you'd expect to see and a good variety of other interesting dishes. We had some poppadoms and pickles and shared onion bhaji for a starter (there were two large fresh and crispy bhajis, delicious and perfect to share). For mains we had chicken biriani and a paneer curry dish (can't remember the name) with a portion of rice and a nan bread. The food was delicious, though we couldn't eat it all (the staff were happy to put the remaining food in containers to take home). We really enjoyed our meal at the Mugal: very good food at good prices (£32 for two 2 course meals and drinks) in very pleasant surroundings with attentive and friendly waiting staff. And the toilets were lovely and clean too 😀We'll definitely eat here again.

Ordered New Year’s Eve, food quality was the best curry I’ve had in years. The consistency of the sauce, not swimming in oil, the meat was beautiful and plenty of it. Haven’t ordered from here in years due to what happened to the restaurant some time ago but so glad I tried again it was stunning. Keep it up !!!

Twice I've lost my draught on this phone of mine where I tried to tell of my recent visit back to Loughborough, staying with a friend, and recalling this place being my Go To over 30 years ago for the highest standards of quality Asian cuisine, service and overall excellence,I'd ordered us both a takeaway late one Saturday evening about a month ago, so hopefully this time I'll get lucky and finish my eulogy?I'll confess, in a town overflowing now with choices and competing establishments I did think it would be difficult to match those days of old when it came to the sheer quality of the food itself, and thought maybe I had rose tinted spectacles on, but I was wrong! It was just as good as I remembered it, for a very late order, the help and service via the telephone was refreshing, and I need to start making excuses to revisit the town again soon, because next time I intend to book a table and explore the delights of this place even more because in a crowded market, they knocked it out of the park, and the food itself was sublime! Thank you guys, my friend was blown away, so next time, a table it will be..

Lovely friendly staff, chatty but not intrusive. Food was excellent. Definitely fresh. And quality meat, not cheap rubbish.. definitely recommend them

Mugal has always kept me going throughout this pandemic with my endless takeouts! The food is always on time even on the weekends. i recently went in post lockdown and was pleased to see that they have renovated the restaurant so it is looking much nicer and inviting. Went on a Friday evening and ordered my usual! The service was excellent as always, adhering to the covid rules (social distancing, hand sanitiser etc), food was delicious and the portions are always generous. My favourite indian restaurant in Loughborough by far!!
