I was booked to perform at this bar.... what a Fabulous place. Inside and out! Such friendly locals and lovely owners. We were made to feel very welcome. Food was lovely and the toilets were very clean!

It started with a phone call to ask if the pub was wheelchair friendly, A delightful young lady , Denise, she told me it was, and explained that due to the marquee in the car park, I should drop the wheelchair user at the front then go and park the car which was fine. The then minutes later the same young lady phoned me to say that if I booked the table the landlord has said he will open the gates and let me park there. WOW !!! so that is what we did the next day. there was even a ramp to help us down the step to get into the bar. what lovely old pub, just like they used to be, before profit became more important than the customers. we were looked after by another young lady, Jo , she could not have done more for us , all four of us had a lovely meal with a few drinks. the food was really lovely, must try the Sunday dinners. my friends live near there so they will definitely be going back. Just want to say a big thank you to both the young ladies, the chef, and the landlord, you really made our day for us

Old traditional pub with a great gazebo for outside dining. Food service was a bit slow considering we were the only table eating at the time. However, worth the wait as the food was spot on. Hot and fresh and the best chips ever.
