Pizza Express in Charnwood

Excellent service, enjoyed my meal and were able to cater for a large group. Will return.

Great friendly service, I chose Calabrese pizza, and was told by waitress that it was a good choice.I was certainly not misled. It was simply the best pizza I have ever eaten, bar none.I have eaten pizza in Milan, Florence, Rome, Napoli, and all over Sicily.👏💯

OK - Hi Thanks for your reply. The issue was with me not you in that I don't like any form of pizza unlike the rest of my family. My OK was reflective of the very limited choice outside the pizza menu. Staff were great

We truly enjoyed our stay yesterday! We had great meal, amazing server taking care of my boys, and really superb atmosphere. We will be back! And new menu is so nice!!

Very nice place , the sitting is comfortable and the place is cosy.I have tried their pizza and pesto pasta.Their both good . However food portions is so small for the price you pay 🙁

Food was good but although the servers were friendly left a lot to be desired. Watched people arrive after us and get served before. Left plates from starters on end of table but no effort to clear away. Drinks were finished but never asked if we would like more. Not sure I'll be going back

The food was delicious. The service was a bit slow but the waiters all seemed really nice.

These are amazing. I messed up my order.... only noticing as our table had food delivered and about to eat....(completely my fault as well) and the server, manager and chef made sure I had what I wanted in quick time so I wasn’t sat without food. This was our first visit to a Pizza Express which made a nice change to our usual choice of pizza restaurant. With somewhere new, the menu choice was refreshing (it's so easy to find a favourite dish and stick to it)We went with the intention of sticking to the two mains for £10 deal but upgraded a little to a larger pizza. I opted for the Diavolo, my partner, the New Porchetta, my Mom had the Pollo ad Astra and my Mom in law the Classic Lasagna. The pizzas were all on the thin Romano base which meant the knife and fork approach but also meant they were light enough to polish off without the need for a doggy take out box at the end of the evening. The Diavolo was nice and spicy, the Porchetta nice and tasty as was the Pollo ad Astra. Comments about the Lasagna came as "the best lasagna I've ever tasted" so a big thumbs up for the food.I finished with a cappuccino which again was all good. The service was fantastic and Roberto (taking the name from the receipt) was so helpful and full of smiles throughout the evening.The place was lively, clean, fresh, modern and airy and seems very popular. It takes walk ins as well as bookings and given its close proximity to Cineworld makes for a handy post/ pre movie meal venue.I think we'll be returning to make our way through the menu to find our Pizza Express favourite. Would recommend a visit.

Loved our meal and the service. Just a little on the pricey side even after using a discount code. Still would highly recommend it tho..Definitely recommend the Gluten free option too.. Thumbs up 👍🏾
